Chester Lynch was talking to South Grant when a familiar elder saw him.
Chester Lynch stood up to greet them and then turned to South Grant and said:
"I’ll be right back, you sit here first."
South Grant looked at Chester Lynch’s concerned face and couldn’t help but want to laugh.
He really thinks I’m a three-year-old child.
After Chester Lynch went over there, South Grant just sat in the corner, watching the banquet where everyone donned masks and wore those businesslike fake smiles, socializing in the crowd.
Fiona Grant also attended the event today, but she was always by Felicity Grant’s side.
It was clear South Grant did not care for her. She tried several tis to approach and explain, but South Grant ignored her, so Fiona Grant didn’t bother anymore.
When Fiona Grant ca out of the restroom, she heard South Grant’s na around the corner.
Out of curiosity, Fiona Grant quietly walked over.
In the empty ergency exit, Fiona Grant saw a girl talking to a waiter.
She didn’t hear what they said before, but this part she heard clearly.
"... The remaining half, I want you to put it in the red wine that South Grant is going to drink. Once it’s done, I will reward you generously."
Fiona Grant was shocked, and when she wanted to see what the waiter was holding, she saw the waiter coming over and quickly hid.

lody Irving said and laughed heartily, as if she had already foreseen the scene that was about to unfold.
Fiona Grant listened to their footsteps getting closer and felt her heart leap into her throat.
Soon they walked past, and Fiona Grant let out a breath of relief.
Recalling what lody Irving had just said, Fiona Grant instinctively turned around to go tell South Grant.
But just as she walked into the hall, hearing the soothing music inside, Fiona Grant halted.
She looked in South Grant’s direction and saw him sitting quietly in the corner, alone.
Fiona Grant rembered what had happened recently. When Shawn Grant bullied her, South Grant didn’t co to help her but recorded a video instead.
Even if she had told Shawn Grant about her identity as a girl, it was a stalling tactic, and South Grant was so heartless to watch Shawn Grant bullying her.
Thinking about this, Fiona Grant’s eyes gradually darkened.
