Alex put a hand on his head and turned toward the voice, which belonged to a young woman with auburn hair tied in a ponytail, sharp brown eyes, and a face that scread beauty.

She was Rayna Howls, the daughter of his parents’ friends and his supposed cousin.

At the mont, she wore a simple light brown round neck tunic, dark pants with a brown sash around her waist, and black boots that fit her perfectly.

In the story, Rayna had always been jealous of Alex because of how much care her parents gave him, although she understood it was because he was their golden goose – she didn’t care and had cursed his academy life into a living hell.

Alex’s eyes darted toward the players standing behind her, and a few of them seed to be from Solace Academy.

To think she is doing this instead of focusing on saving her own life.

She placed a finger on her lower lip and asked with a tilted head. "Why aren’t you saying anything?"

"Ah!" Her eyes widened as if she had realized sothing, and she stated with a wide grin, "It seems you didn’t awaken a talent."

Why is she grinning like a third-rate villain?
