"I’m fine. I did endure so hardships, but they all turned out to be blessings. It’s nothing much; one must endure the bitterest hardships to rise above others. If it weren’t for these experiences, how would I have joined the Saint Witch Religion? This was all destined by the heavens." Ling Chen’s heart was in turmoil, but he appeared calm, especially since Sikong Yi and the people from Skypiercing Peak were present. "It’s just that during this Sky Demon Tower trial, I ranked first and killed a few minor figures. I hope this hasn’t caused Mother any trouble."

With a cold laugh, Liu Xiling rose and walked behind Ling Chen. She gently placed her jade-like hand on his shoulder and said softly, "Chen’er, don’t worry. Now that you’re by Mother’s side, no one in this heaven or on this earth can harm you."
"Thank you, Mother. However, your son already has the strength to protect himself." Ling Chen was a man who had weathered many storms and was no longer the child he once was; he could control his emotions. "Arrogant!" A Skypiercing Peak Elder at the Great Master Ninth Level roared furiously. "Although you won first place in the Sky Demon Tower trial, your contempt for the Sect Leader is a grave cri in the Saint Witch Religion! We have every right to impose the cruelest punishnt on you!"
"What are you? When Chen’er, the Sect Leader, and I are speaking, what right do you have to interrupt?" Suddenly, Liu Xiling flicked her jade-like fingers. With a PUCHI sound, they pierced through the void and struck the Skypiercing Peak Elder’s body.
BANG! This Elder of the Great Master Ninth Level was sent flying, blood spraying wildly. His eyes glazed over as he was flung out of the main hall.
"Saintess, you!" Sikong Yi stood up, his powerful True Qi erupting. "Did you co today to provoke our Skypiercing Peak Lineage?"
"This isn’t a provocation; it’s a warning. From now on, don’t you dare touch my son. Sikong Yi, I know your cultivation is already at the Five-fold realm of Sky Apex. However, do you think you are my opponent? If it weren’t for the fact that you still have so use, I would have annihilated your entire Skypiercing Peak Lineage long ago. Would I have waited until now?" Liu Xiling stated coldly.
"What?" An incredulous look appeared in Sikong Yi’s eyes. His face then turned ashen as he said in a low voice, "Saintess, you are too outrageous! It seems you no longer have any regard for , the Sect Leader. Since that’s the case, I’d like to see just what your strength amounts to!"
In Sikong Yi’s opinion, even if Liu Xiling had just broken through in her seclusion, she would only be at the Five-fold realm of Sky Apex. He, on the other hand, had reached this realm so ti ago. Furthermore, he cultivated the Demon Emperor’s Scripture, which only the Sect Leader of each generation could practice and was a tier higher than the Saintess’s Great Witch Blood Sutra. Therefore, he didn’t believe Liu Xiling could be his opponent.

Xuanjizi and the other demons from Skypiercing Peak all sneered. The Saintess was too arrogant, daring to directly provoke Sikong Yi. She would likely suffer a miserable defeat.

He was clearly unleashing his full power, determined to fight Liu Xiling to decide the victor and regain his dignity.
"This is rely the struggle of a cornered beast." Liu Xiling extended both her jade-like hands. Two blood-red seals abruptly appeared in her palms. As her hand seals changed, a prison of True Qi suddenly materialized around Sikong Yi, trapping him within.

"This is impossible!" Xuanjizi, the Ghost God Venerables, and the others were so astounded they were speechless. Is this Liu Xiling still the Saintess we knew? Then, he slowly sat back down and suddenly waved his hand, "Skypiercing Peak Lineage, hear my order!"
"Present!" Several Skypiercing Peak Elders, unsure what command Sikong Yi was about to issue, imdiately stepped forward and answered loudly.
