If she were a person of status and position, there were only so many top socialites in Country W, and Scarlett knew them all.
As for the top socialites from other countries, she had t nearly all of them, but she had no impression of Enna Clark whatsoever. She was certain that Enna was not among those she had t.
If she weren’t a top socialite, then where did that woman get the guts to lay hands on her?
Scarlett had never suffered such a humiliation from childhood, and to have to swallow the insult silently was maddening beyond belief.
She fretfully furrowed her brows then relaxed them, only to furrow them again. Finally, she took a few deep breaths and cald down, turning to the Female Officer beside her to command, “Go and help find out who the person that ‘accidentally’ tripped is!”
The emphasis she placed on the word “accidentally” bore a particularly heavy weight, and anyone could hear the anger in her voice.
The two Female Officers looked at each other, fearful that she would cause trouble.
Yet, they did not dare disobey her and could only stiffen up and say, “Your Highness, this is the Lawrence Family’s place. Going out to inquire about their guests might not be appropriate, right?”
Scarlett’s beautiful almond eyes flicked over them, and without a second thought, she said, “What’s inappropriate about that? It’s because you couldn’t stand seeing tripped that you took it upon yourselves to deal with that person. So, finding out the na, identity, and relation to the Lawrence Family of the one who tripped —is there anything strange about that?”
She spoke with such naturalness that it seed as if that was indeed the case.
The two Female Officers, looking at the young girl sitting on the sofa who exuded nobility, innocence, and charm, felt a chill run up their spines. Even with a thousand reluctances in their hearts, they resignedly replied, “Understood, we will do as you said.”
Scarlett’s lovely eyes swept over them, a warning flashing within, “It’s not about understanding; it’s about rembering! You want to know, not ! I don’t know anything; you are doing this behind my back.”
The two Female Officers had already grasped her aning, “Yes, we will rember,” they said.
Because she had taken such a loss, Scarlett’s disgruntled expression finally lightened up a bit. She stretched out her arms, the cold deanor she had just now vanishing, returning to her usual pleasant, naive, and pure appearance, like a girl smitten with first love, asking those around her, “What do you think would make a good greeting gift for Brother Baron?”
She seed rather lancholy as she murmured, “I only know he likes to collect red wine, but he doesn’t like the red wine I send.”
Neither of the Female Officers dared to reply.
She didn’t care whether they replied or not and continued to speak to herself, “I rember there is a bottle of collectible-grade red wine at ho, but I wonder if Brother Baron would like that bottle of wine…”
One of the Female Officers couldn’t help but remind her, “Princess, that is the Princess Consort’s collection.”
Scarlett’s eyes suddenly darkened, a flash of disgust passing through them! But she suppressed it forcefully and did not bring up that bottle of red wine again, continuing, “Then what do you suggest I give? Besides red wine, what else can I give?”
