Was it because Skye still didn’t approve of her being with Baron Lawrence, so Baron had had a dispute with Skye, causing him to say such a thing?
Just then, her shoulder was firmly gripped, and a handso face that took one’s breath away suddenly enlarged before her. His breath almost spilled onto her face as he emphasized with utmost seriousness, “Enna Clark, rember my words. Don’t get close to Skye Lawrence; she’s not as you think. If Skye didn’t like her, so be it. Enna had no intention of awkwardly trying to gain favor where none was offered. She was not money; she couldn’t please everyone, but as long as the person she liked, liked her back, that was enough. For the rest, she would treat them with kindness. If they didn’t accept her, she wouldn’t force herself upon them like so self-sacrificing saint, trying to ‘convert’ soone to accept her.
