“Enna Clark, do you really intend to fulfill the promise you made to the Old Man?” His voice was hoarse and gravelly, as if he had been holding the words in for a very long ti.

Not an hour, not a day…
But an entire month!
She would be away from him for that long!
The re thought made his heart clench as if starved of oxygen. It felt as though his heart was being squeezed by sothing, causing an unbearable sense of suffocation.
Discontent was written all over his handso, sharp face, and his obsidian-like eagle eyes were filled with extre displeasure, as dark as a deep well.
“You’re actually moving out?”
Enna felt the grip on her wrist tighten. She pursed her lips and her clear eyes sparkled as she said, “I promised Grandpa I would agree to this condition.”
“It’s only for a month anyway. Once I sort things out, I’ll co right back to you and Bobby. I’ll find the person behind the scenes as soon as possible, trust .”
Baron Lawrence’s brows furrowed enough to trap a fly. His thin lips t briefly as he said, “I’ll search with you!”
A month was too long.
He would grow restless without seeing her for just one day, let alone a month.
Enna imdiately stopped him, “No, the condition I agreed upon with Grandpa is that you cannot help.”
Baron Lawrence, impatient, pulled her into his embrace and lowered his head, “You didn’t ask for my help; I’m forcing you to let help, which ans you wouldn’t be breaking the promise!”
Who would insist on helping when not asked to?
Even a child in kindergarten wouldn’t believe such nonsense, much less the Old Master.
Enna freed herself from his grasp, “Baron Lawrence, stop it. Grandpa hardly ever gives this chance; don’t ss it up. I promise I’ll find the person who set this up and co back as soon as I can. Okay?”
The proud man narrowed his eyes, responded somberly, “And what if I say it’s not okay?”

He released her hand, not wanting to deal with her any longer, and turned to enter the study.

This place was one of the most upscale cafes in the area, and booking it would cost more than 15 thousand dollars.
