Chapter 1160: Chapter 1160: Now Giving Them Two Options Chapter 1160: Chapter 1160: Now Giving Them Two Options Enna Clark thought she had beco calm enough by now; at least, over the past year, her worldviews had been repeatedly shattered by this family, and she had seen through their shalessness to the extre.
Yet, every ti she faced their brazen faces again, she could not help but feel disgusted.
Her chest would still feel terribly blocked, and the icy sharp pain would knock against her heart, minute by minute.
Enna took a deep breath, clenched her fists, suppressed her anger, and with a mocking look, she watched Juliet Jordan with a half-smile, “How would you like to help you?”
Without a second thought, Juliet Jordan said, “First, send us back to our country, we don’t want to stay here any longer.”
This trip abroad had been a nightmare, and she couldn’t take it any longer.
She wanted to return to her country!
To go back!
“First? So there is an after that? What then?” Enna coldly waited for her to continue.
Juliet Jordan, unnerved by her mocking gaze, found herself speechless.
At this point, Jacob Clark interjected impatiently, “And of course, afterwards, you’ll help pay back the money, once the debt is settled, we’re done with each other!”
That was what Juliet Jordan thought, but she didn’t have the audacity to say it as bluntly as Jacob did. Especially when Enna was looking at her with those clear eyes, Juliet felt a sense of sha so intense that it choked her throat and forced her words back down.
However, since Jacob had spoken, she silently acquiesced.
Enna looked at one whose face was full of entitlent, and the other who, although not presumptuous, consented, and almost burst into laughter.
But she could not laugh; the anger in her chest seed ready to erupt. She clenched her fists tightly, resisting the urge to slap the two shaless people in front of her, and with cold, ice-like eyes, she turned to the man standing on the rooftop, “It seems President Clark isn’t quite awake yet, talking nonsense in broad daylight!”
“What do you an?”
“Is President Clark going senile? How many tis do I have to repeat the sa thing before you rember it? I already know about what you did in the hospital twenty years ago, and I’ve investigated it thoroughly. After our last encounter, the police must have visited you; with so many visits, don’t you understand why they were looking for you?”
Enna coldly exposed their facade, saying it outright.
“Twenty years ago, you bribed the nurse and caused my mom’s death. What face do you even have to talk to now?”
The truth, displayed so blatantly before him, made Jacob’s face seem as if it had been viciously slapped, turning the color of pork liver, “I am your dad!”
“You should be grateful that my mom chose you back then, and not so other man. Otherwise, with what you’ve done, you’d be standing on the rooftop now, and it would already be polite of not to kick you over the edge!”
For the first ti, Jacob was t with such rciless defiance from her. The blood rushed to the top of his head and, in a surge of rage, he leapt from the rooftop towards Enna, “I’ll beat you to death, you ungrateful wretch!”
He hadn’t even gotten close when the bodyguards stopped him!
Several burly n, strong and powerful, gripped his wrist with one hand and coldly looked at him as if they were looking at a pile of trash.
The force of Jacob’s montum was instantly suppressed, unable to land a punch or step down from the confrontation, his face turning alternately green and white, looking extrely unsightly!
Enna had endured enough of his antics. Without so much as moving an eyebrow, her elegant face remained icily unemotional as she glanced at her watch and said, “I’ll give you two options now. First, I arrange for you to go work in the coal mines in Country T. Second, you go back to your country.”
