The familiar prelude to the movie began to play.
With flushed cheeks, she realized that the brief darkness from two or three seconds earlier was because the movie was about to start.
Suddenly, Enna felt awkward as if she’d caught on fire.
Not only was her face a bit hot, but her hands started to feel the heat too.
She glanced subconsciously at the man next to her.
She saw Baron Lawrence lounging casually on the couch, with a lazy posture, the light from the movie screen cast a soft glow on his face, coating his sharp profile with a silver halo. His profile was as noble and aloof as a sculpture, his nose high and straight, and his thin lips, though void of a smile, curved naturally upwards, as if beckoning for a kiss… it made one want to lean in and kiss them…
It had to be said, Baron Lawrence truly had a face that astonished people.
No wonder so many people liked him.

Indeed, a man like Baron Lawrence either had no interest in won, or he’d better be interested in lots of won.

But, with this small woman looking at him with such focused attention, he wasn’t as put off.
He even felt an indescribable stirring, as if all the cells in his body were starting to beco restless.

He keenly noticed the slight change in his body, his handso face darkened, and though he hadn’t intended to speak, he was now compelled, “If you keep looking at like that, I’m going to take it as you hinting at sothing!”
Enna was suddenly jolted back to reality by the man’s husky, deep voice right by her ear. Realizing what she had done, she tried to pull away from his grasp in embarrassnt while attempting to clarify, her explanation growing increasingly awkward, “I… it’s not what you think, I… I didn’t an to…”
How could Baron Lawrence let go of her soft little hand? No matter how much she struggled, he held on tight, staring at the big screen without turning his head, seemingly oblivious to the embarrassnt on her face, imperiously commanding, “Stop fidgeting, watch the movie!”
Enna suddenly didn’t feel like moving anymore, letting him hold her hand as she turned her attention to the large screen.
The movie had already started playing on the big screen.
The beautiful azure seascape and the young man and woman riding bicycles looked especially pleasing to the eye, and with the movie’s romantic score, anyone could feel the happiness and joy emanating from the film.
As the scenes and music continued to play, Enna’s embarrassnt gradually cald down, and she started watching the movie intently.
