The salmon she bought at the supermarket was always orange; she had thought that salmon themselves were orange, or at least a reddish-orange.
She hadn’t expected them to look so drab on the outside.
“Yes, this is salmon. The taste is the freshest when salmon is caught from the sea and eaten straight away. Ms. Clark, should I have the chef prepare so fish fillet for you?”
No sooner had he finished speaking than the haughty man had picked up the fish by the tail, speaking indifferently, “I’ll do it.”
“Baron Lawrence, you’re going to do it?” Enna Clark looked at the man in front of her as if she had heard sothing unimaginable.
He was actually offering to cook voluntarily?
The likelihood of that happening was as unbelievable as Mars crashing into Earth!
Before she could recover from her shock, she rembered the ti this man had once attempted to cook for her… Beer Duck.
It was supposed to be Beer Duck, but when it ca ti to serve, it had turned into Red Wine Chicken. The worst part was, he didn’t even bother to cut the chicken into pieces; he simply threw a whole chicken into the pot, stewed it in red wine, and then served up a dish of “dark cuisine” that left her stomach upset for an entire day.
Although preparing Salmon Sashimi is much simpler than Beer Duck, given his prior performance, Enna Clark remained skeptical about his culinary skills.
She hesitated before tentatively suggesting, “Um, didn’t you dislike doing these things? Maybe we should let the chef handle it.”
“Shit, you don’t believe ?” He was just bad-tempered, not stupid nor blind; her expression was full of indecision, which clearly indicated a fear of him cooking.

That he was willing to personally prepare Salmon Sashimi for her, and she was neither grateful nor appreciative; instead, she dared to disdain his effort—was she tired of living?

Baron Lawrence’s chest heaved, and his piercing gaze fixed on Enna Clark; his deanor was almost as if he wanted to strangle her with his gaze.
Enna Clark knew that if she dared to speak the truth at this mont, it would definitely detonate an atomic bomb, so she cleverly shifted the topic, “How do you prepare this salmon? Do you need to remove the skin first? I’ve only bought it in supermarkets before and haven’t seen it fresh; I really want to see how it’s done, so I can learn for next ti.”

Enna Clark let out a long sigh of relief and followed in his footsteps.
