The taxi stopped at the entrance to the vacation resort, and after expressing her thanks and paying the fare, she got out. Carrying her things, she walked toward the villa.
The villa was inside the resort, only a few minutes’ walk away.
“I’m back,” she said with a smile as she entered.
No one in the living room responded to her.
She found it odd and walked further in.
The next second, Enna Clark’s smile began to fade.
Because the handso man was sitting on the sofa with dark eyes, he wasn’t on a video call or looking at docunts. It was unclear what he was thinking, but by his expression, it wasn’t good. Especially when he looked at her, Enna Clark felt as if there were two flas burning in his eyes.
She thought she had returned quite early; it wasn’t even dark yet, so she couldn’t be considered late. Before she went out, she had specially asked for his permission to leave, and could not think of anything that would upset him, so she relaxed, assuming soone had annoyed him at work.
She walked in, set down her bag, and greeted him again with a beaming smile, “Baron Lawrence, I’m back.”
“I’m not blind, I can see!”

Enna Clark blinked, failing to grasp where this aggressiveness was coming from. Her attention quickly shifted to sothing else; she picked up the paper bag, approached the sofa, and, seeming unfazed by the oppressive atmosphere, extended her hand to the handso man, “Here, this is for you. Do you want to try it on to see if it fits? If it doesn’t, their store can alter it.”
Designers of custom-made clothes can always make alterations based on the custor’s asurents as part of their after-sales service.
Otherwise, spending so much money on ill-fitting clothes couldn’t just be accepted.
