The image shifted, suddenly moving to a shabby neighborhood, one so run-down that the room didn’t even have a proper bathroom. He didn’t know why he was staying in such a small room, and Enna Clark looked at him helplessly, not knowing what she was saying, while he haughtily pulled the squawking little woman down onto the bed and pounced on her…
What were these?
Just as Baron Lawrence was about to get a clearer look, the severe pain forced him to close his eyes, and in that mont, the image before him disappeared.
In just a few short seconds, his forehead and back were covered in sweat.
When he regained his composure and looked again, the little woman lying on the couch was sleeping soundly, with no strawberry fields or dilapidated apartnts in sight.
Baron Lawrence clenched his fists, his thin lips forming a straight line.
