Chapter 1475: Chapter 1475: I’ve felt that he’s been acting strange since last night Chapter 1475: Chapter 1475: I’ve felt that he’s been acting strange since last night The Executive Director and several company Directors briefly stunned, regained their composure and imdiately declared, “Yes, President Lawrence, we understand. We will call Director Ford again, and regarding Lillian, I will have soone call her back imdiately.”
Though he said this, he was secretly astonished in his heart.
He had no idea what deadly mistake this small artist from the lowest tier had made to offend President Lawrence.
That President Lawrence would personally go out of his way to completely blacklist her!
Even top-tier stars couldn’t withstand the kind of blacklisting President Lawrence was imposing, let alone a small star.
One could imagine that the na Lillian would rapidly disappear from the public’s view.
He simply sighed without any sympathy for Lillian.
In this circle where fa and fortune are intertwined, the more one gains, the more one must learn to be low-key and grateful. Most importantly, one must have the discernnt to not forget their own na as soon as they get a little fa. Offending soone they shouldn’t have, they can only bear the consequences they’ve brought upon themselves.
Lillian had offended soone she shouldn’t have.
She probably never expected to et such a terrible fate.
“I will completely suspend Lillian’s work and let her ‘rest’ for a while.”
‘Rest’ was just a euphemism—it was actually a freeze, with no chance of a coback!
Baron Lawrence narrowed his eyes, “Keep an eye on her, don’t let her out to bite people crazily!”
The Executive Director quickly glanced at Enna Clark and imdiately said, “I understand, you can rest assured, President Lawrence.”
It seed that it would be better for them not to offend Secretary Clark beside President Lawrence, judging by how protectively President Lawrence was acting now. If they didn’t want to be kicked out, it was best not to provoke Secretary Clark.
Otherwise, Lillian’s fate would be their fate.
Enna Clark was unaware of the fear and respect she had instilled in Elysion’s company executives; her gaze never left the man beside her for a second.
After dealing with what he needed to handle, Baron Lawrence had no interest in staying to watch others nod and bow. He stood up first and imperiously took Enna Clark’s hand, “Let’s go.”
“Uh…” Enna Clark stumbled as she was pulled along, keeping pace with him.
The Executive Director and several Directors followed them, cautiously inquiring, “President Lawrence, it’s almost noon. If you have ti, would you like to join us for lunch?”
“If President Lawrence doesn’t have any arrangents, let’s have lunch together.”
“I have arrangents! That’s enough, stop following !” With one sentence, he dismissed all of them.
He took a glance at the woman beside him, who knew nothing of this, and his thin lips relaxed. He did have arrangents today, not just arrangents, but quite a few of them.
So, he had no free ti to waste with them!
…
Once he had shaken off all of Elysion’s executives.
Baron Lawrence opened the car door.
“Get in the car.”
Enna Clark followed behind him and got into the car first.
Once she was aboard, the tall and upright man imdiately followed suit.
As soon as she got in the car, Enna Clark couldn’t help but ask, “Baron Lawrence, what plans do you have for the afternoon?”
“You’ll find out in the afternoon! Now, let’s eat first!”
He paused, then reclined in the leather sofa seat with an arrogant and noble command to the driver.
“Drive, to Laurel Restaurant.”
“Yes, Lord.”
The car headed towards Laurel Restaurant.
Enna Clark always felt that he had been acting a bit strange since last night; she couldn’t pinpoint exactly what was odd, but there was an uncanny feeling about it.
His actions also had a mysteriousness to them that was hard to guess.
