Chapter 1502: Chapter 1502: Next ti it won’t be just a warning.
Enna Clark’s eyes whipped up a storm of disbelief.
She stared at the tall and graceful man, unable to believe what she was seeing.
How is that possible?!
Baron Lawrence kept his gaze on her, his thin lips briefly eting before he continued coldly, “I can only use my thods to make you clearly rember that I’m not just talking!”
Shock still filled Enna Clark’s beautiful eyes, completely overtaking any other reaction, as if she had been petrified.
Baron Lawrence gave her a ruthless glance and issued the command, “Do it!”
The two bodyguards holding Enna hesitated, then steeled themselves and said, “First Young Lady, sorry…”
With that, they grabbed Enna’s left hand, ready to act.
At that mont, Enna’s driver, stumbling out of the car, saw what was happening and rushed to intervene, “What are you doing!”
He then turned to Baron Lawrence, pleading, “Lord, what exactly did the First Young Lady do to deserve this? Are you really going to disable her left hand? Lord, please don’t…”
Baron Lawrence was not used to explaining his actions to others; the only reason he had said so much earlier was to let Enna die with a clear understanding.
He had even less patience for Enna’s driver. With an upward tilt of his jaw, he ordered, “Scott Harris, silence him!”
“Yes, Lord,” Scott Harris, now aware of Baron Lawrence’s restored mory and understanding from his terse words what Enna had done, knew the determination behind Baron Lawrence’s decision.
Though he felt unwilling, without another word, he exchanged a look and pulled the intervening driver to the side, silencing him.
“Mmmmph mmmph,” the driver struggled, trying to say sothing to Baron Lawrence.
Baron Lawrence’s piercing gaze swept over him with an impatient remark, “If he makes another sound, break his legs!”
The driver, now whimpering and struggling, beca as still as if his acupoint had been pressed, not daring to move any longer.
Enna Clark had sowhat recovered from the initial shock and, though disheveled, did not make a scene or beg pitifully like her driver. Instead, she calmly looked at the man in front of her, her eyes serene, asking, “For her, you want to break my left hand to vent her anger?”
All she did was for his own good, yet he was ready to break her hand just to appease Enna Clark.
Baron Lawrence frowned but didn’t flinch away from her gaze, stating firmly, “I warned you not to touch her again.”
“And if I don’t listen, for her, you’ll break my left hand?” Enna clung to that question, demanding an answer.
The muscles in Baron Lawrence’s cheeks tensed, his obsidian eyes bottomless, cold intent preceding the brewing storm. His entire being exuded a chill even colder than the Siberian air, as he said, “Yes! This is just a warning.”
“Enna Clark, if there is a next ti, it won’t be just a simple warning!”
She repeatedly sought Enna Clark’s life, and him breaking just one of her hands as a warning was already rcy.
If it were anyone else, he wouldn’t be asking for a hand, but a life instead!
But Enna Clark…
Baron Lawrence’s heart clenched!
He clenched his fists quietly, struggling to control the turbulent emotions in his chest.
After all, Enna Clark was not just anyone. They had grown up together, Enna had once taken a bullet for him, and most importantly, Enna was a mber of the Lawrence Family, his kin. Even if Enna had truly done sothing against Enna Clark, he couldn’t take up a gun and really shoot her dead.
