“It’s not disappointnt, it’s utter disappointnt!” Nicholas Lawrence didn’t want to talk to her anymore, he waved his hand and said, “You may leave. The rest will be discussed after Grandpa wakes up.”
Old Master Lawrence was domineering and very particular about rules.
Considering what Skye Lawrence did, once Old Master Lawrence woke up, it was certain she could no longer stay with the Lawrence Family.

His rugged face regained its calmness, and looking at Skye Lawrence, he said coolly, “It’s likely inconvenient for you to continue in your position at Lawrence Corporation. I will announce your resignation tomorrow morning. Before you leave, rember to hand over your current work to your colleagues…”
Before he could finish, he paused and said, “Never mind, I will handle these matters. Just resign directly, I will make it public tomorrow!”
This was stripping away her authority.
Skye Lawrence used all her strength to keep herself composed, as she had anticipated this outco before acting, so she was not overly surprised.
What she did consider was that Nicholas Lawrence would be angry, furious, and scold her… but she did not expect that after his anger, he would say that no one owed her anything.
“Okay,” Skye’s voice was hoarse as she began, “The docunts for the work I need to hand over are already printed and placed on the desk in the office.”
“…” She was prepared for this?
Nicholas Lawrence turned his back, clenched his fists, and sat on the sofa, not looking at her anymore. He dismissively said, “I see. You may leave now.”
Skye Lawrence stood in place for a while.
Nicholas Lawrence could feel her gaze resting on him, his back tensed, but he never looked up from beginning to end.
Based on Skye’s actions today and her reaction when he questioned her, it was now certain for him that she was responsible for poisoning Old Master.
Although he did not know how she poisoned Old Master or why she would do such a thing,
Just for that act alone, he could never forgive her!

She clenched her right hand into a fist, biting her lower lip, looking at the resolute figure of the man. After a long ti, she finally spoke, “Dad, I’m sorry…”
Nicholas Lawrence’s spine tensed even more, but he still didn’t look at her.
Skye Lawrence knew the answer then, turned around, and concealed all her emotions within her eyes as she walked away.
“Click.” The entrance hall door closed.
In the ultra-luxurious villa living room, not a single servant dared to speak; everyone was quietly holding their breath, minding their own business.
Nicholas Lawrence sat on the sofa in silence for a while, his face tired and unsightly, he instructed the servant beside him, “Call my personal doctor to co over.”
