Chapter 1562: Chapter 1562: Robots Also Need Rest
They say a man is most handso when he’s serious.
When Baron Lawrence got serious, he was so strikingly handso that one could hardly take their eyes off him.
But at this mont, Enna Clark was in no mood to appreciate his dazzling presence.
She walked straight up to him with a cup of coffee, set it down, and, at the sa ti, stretched out her hand to close his laptop.
Baron Lawrence was looking at the latest data compiled by the Secretary Office; suddenly, his screen went black as his laptop was closed.
Simultaneously, a steaming cup of coffee was placed in front of him, conveniently right on top of his laptop, making it quite clear it was intentional.
He furrowed his brows.
Even Scott Harris wouldn’t dare to disturb him when he was working.
The act of shutting his laptop without a word like Enna Clark just did was decidedly bold, as if she’d eaten the heart of a bear and the gall of a leopard, and that gall was particularly fat. Had it been anyone else, he would have sent them packing already, but this person was Enna Clark, and he held back.
“Have so hot coffee,” she said.
Seeing that he didn’t move, Enna pushed the coffee cup a bit closer to him, signaling him to drink.
His mind was filled with data, and he furrowed his brow, moved the coffee cup aside, and said, “Just leave it there, I’ll drink it later.”
As he spoke, he reached out to lift his laptop screen.
Quick as lightning, Enna beat him to it, pressing down on the laptop with one hand, and pushed the cup she’d moved back toward him, “Baron Lawrence, you need to rest! From 8:30 this morning until now, you haven’t stopped for a minute. Even robots have their charging ti. Besides, you’re not a robot, so, have so coffee first!”
She kept the laptop down, and although Baron Lawrence had been a bit irritable, hearing her say that swept away all his irritability, turning it into pleasure; even his mood lifted slightly. He looked up, his hawk-like eyes suddenly focusing on the petite woman in front of him, his thin lips eting briefly as he asked, “Are you concerned about ?”
Enna taphorically rolled her eyes at him in her heart, picked up the laptop on his desk, held it in her hands and calmly admitted, “Yes, I am concerned about you, I’m also worried. Mr. Harris said you have a weak stomach, and you’ve been so busy today that you haven’t eaten anything…”
She truly wondered if he was made of iron; normal people couldn’t handle working continuously for so long.
But he apparently could!
“I’m taking the laptop away, rest for a while.”
Only she would dare to do this, anyone else care to try?
If it were Scott Harris, he’d likely be on a plane to Country T mining coal by now.
Baron Lawrence didn’t notice it while he was busy, but as soon as Enna took his laptop away, he imdiately felt a throbbing pain at his temples.
He placed his hands on his temples and massaged them.
Then, he reached out and took a sip of the coffee Enna had made for him. With the first gulp, he frowned due to the sweetness, lifted his head, looked at the little woman also drinking coffee on the sofa, and asked, “What is this? Why is it so sweet?”
Enna took a sip from her cup of coffee, and without looking up, said, “Cappuccino.”
“I added a few more sugar cubes.”
“…”
He didn’t like things that were too sweet!
As if knowing what he was thinking, Enna looked up and over at him, “You haven’t eaten all day, your body needs sugar, so I added two more cubes. It’s not that sweet, just bear with it for now.”
In the past, no secretary had ever dared to ask him to bear with anything, nor would he put up with it for anyone’s sake.

Baron Lawrence bowed his head, forcibly enduring the displeasure, and took a couple more sips.
