They were chatting animatedly.
Suddenly.
A woman dressed as a waiter nervously rushed in front of Ms. Prada, stamring in English, "Director, I heard you are hosting a show in Linton City, please consider . I have a certain reputation in the country, and I really love the brand panda, I’ve always dread of participating in your show. If possible, can you give a chance to participate? I..."
As Prada frowned, extrely displeased, Enna Clark was surprised and said to the stamring person who was pestering her, "Miranda?"
Who else could it be that rushed in front of Ms. Prada but Miranda?
Compared to how she looked when Enna saw her in Country W, Miranda seed much more haggard. She must have had surgery on her jaw again; it was absurdly sharp. It looked like she’d also had hyaluronic acid injections in her face, which might not have settled, giving an unnatural appearance.
It’s that kind where when you look at the features individually, you can’t see any major issue.
Clearly, she had a standard almond-shaped face and large eyes, but sohow, it made people feel uncomfortable, giving off an awkward vibe.
What made Enna Clark even more uncomfortable were Miranda’s eyes.
Previously, Miranda’s eyes were almond-shaped; after makeup, they had a slight upward tilt, looking quite sultry.
But now, her eyes looked longer, and they appeared more charming.
However, Enna had an uncanny feeling of familiarity with the shape of Miranda’s eyes, as if she’d seen them sowhere before.
Enna didn’t notice, but Prada did.
Miranda’s eyes looked a lot like Enna’s.
Though their expressions and the feelings they conveyed were different.
Ms. Prada had a natural dislike for won who had undergone costic surgery. As a designer, she pursued more natural things. She frowned and asked Enna in surprise, "Do you know this Miss?"
"I’m her cousin." Miranda hadn’t expected to see Enna here. She had worked so hard to use various connections to get this opportunity; she couldn’t possibly let it go. After a brief mont of embarrassnt, she ignored Enna and spoke up before her.
The socialite who had been conversing nicely with Enna was surprised to look at her, as if unable to believe Enna would have such a cousin.
"Ms. Prada, I really adore your brand, I’ve done extensive research on your brand. I particularly admire your work, and I heard you are going to host a big show in Linton City. I really want to see it in person. I’m sorry to disturb you; I know my behavior now is very presumptuous to you, but I really don’t want to miss this opportunity. Ms. Prada, could you give a chance?"
Not just anyone is eligible to attend a brand’s big show; for artists, getting an invitation from a top label like panda is sothing to brag about.
This is because brands generally only invite fashion socialites, influencers, and top stars who match the brand’s identity.
For soone like Miranda, a small-ti star who can’t even dream of getting in even if she stuffs money, it’s basically hopeless.
She had recently been blacklisted and suffered a lot. The entertainnt industry is inherently a place that exalts the powerful and steps on the weak, and when she beca famous, she didn’t know how to play the ga, offending many people. Seeing her in misfortune, no one would miss stepping on her.
Miranda now fully understood how terrifying Baron Lawrence could be.
A single word from Baron Lawrence was equivalent to what it ant in the entertainnt industry.
But she didn’t want to fade away just like that, so she found out Prada was in Pacifica, spent a huge amount of money to follow her, and snuck in as a waiter, just to seize this opportunity. Even seeing Enna, even feeling embarrassed, she still brazenly approached.
