Half an hour later, Baron Lawrence took her and left early.
The driver had been waiting outside; as soon as they ca out, he opened the car door for them, "Lord, Ms. Clark, please get in the car."
Baron Lawrence got in the car first, and Enna Clark followed.
Perhaps due to exhaustion, Baron Lawrence leaned against the leather seat and closed his eyes after getting into the car, yet still held her hand, "Enna Clark, let know when we arrive."

"I want to hear you talk."

But Enna Clark knew the reason; Baron Lawrence had trouble sleeping, yet for so reason, listening to her voice helped him fall asleep quickly.
"Okay, just give a mont." She took out her phone and randomly chose a historical story, then began to read aloud.
Her voice was soothing and tranquil, gentle like a breeze that made one involuntarily relax...
The man with a proud outline relaxed, his body, which had been stiff like a rock the whole night, softened against the seat, easing his nerves.
Enna Clark continued reading while observing his reactions. When she saw his brows relax, appearing to be asleep, she took a mont to glance at the driver, lowered her voice, and said, "Drive a bit slower."
After a brief thought, she added, "No rush to get to the hospital, just drive around the area for an hour before heading there."

The driver indeed slowed down considerably, making the ride particularly smooth in the night’s darkness...
Enna Clark lowered her head again, lifted her phone, and tirelessly continued to read aloud.
In a blink of an eye, over an hour had passed.
The driver had circled the hospital’s ring road three tis; as he completed the fourth loop, he couldn’t help but ask, "Miss Clark, should we keep driving?"
Baron Lawrence hadn’t woken up yet.
Enna Clark maintained her sideways posture, her hand still tightly clasped by him even in his slumber, causing her entire arm to stiffen. She carefully tried to shift while saying to the driver, "Let’s drive a little longer."
