Five minutes later, the car ca to a steady stop in front of the hospital.
Baron Lawrence was the first to get out of the car.
As the cold night wind blew, the heat within him finally cooled sowhat, and his breathing beca less heavy. Most importantly, with Enna Clark’s pervasive presence no longer beside him, the restless impulse subsided naturally, and the temperature of his body followed suit.
He let the cold wind blow on him for two minutes, finally controlling the heat in his abdon. He turned around, took the hand of the embarrassed young woman, his expression returned to normal, as if nothing dangerous had happened in the car just now, and said naturally, "Let’s go."
Enna Clark was not one to dwell on things either. Once inside the hospital, her attention turned to Gigi and Bobby, automatically putting the earlier awkward situation behind her, heading straight for Gigi’s room.
When they pushed the door open, the hospital room was extrely quiet.
Scott Harris and Hayes stood nearby. On the large white hospital bed, beside the sleeping little girl lay a little boy, who else could it be but Bobby?
Enna Clark checked their blankets, tucked them in, and quietly stepped out.
Carefully, she closed the hospital room’s door.
Scott Harris was softly reporting to Baron Lawrence, "Young Master woke up once halfway through. After he woke up, he ca looking for Young Miss. Young Master woke up the Young Miss to have dinner, then coaxed her back to sleep, and fell asleep himself. He just fell asleep not long ago, and will probably wake up by morning."
"Okay. Keep a good eye on them. I’ll go ask the doctor." Baron Lawrence said with a furrowed brow.
Efficient and quick to act, he let Enna Clark know and then walked off with Scott Harris towards the doctor’s office.
Once the two of them turned the corner.
Enna Clark called out to Hayes beside her, "Hayes, I rember the doctor responsible for Grandma’s health is a heart specialist, right?"
Hayes didn’t know why she was asking but bowed respectfully and answered, "Yes, Miss. Because the Old Lady’s heart has never been very good, Master found several top heart specialists to take care of the Old Lady."
Enna Clark pondered for a mont and said, "Help call the personal doctor and ask about Grandma’s recent condition. If there’s no problem, have them co to Pacifica, I want them to see soone about an illness."
She wanted the heart specialist to see if they could treat Lyle Westbrook’s heart problem, otherwise, if Lyle Westbrook really needed to take dication daily because of her, she’d feel guilty.
Hayes didn’t ask who the doctor was going to see, he directly followed the order, "Yes, Miss, hold on."
He took out his phone and walked aside to make the call.
While Enna Clark was waiting for news from Hayes, unexpectedly, the man who had gone to find the doctor returned, walking right over.
Hayes had just finished the call and hadn’t noticed Baron Lawrence walking over. He said, "Miss, the Old Lady says she’s in good health and has left one doctor for ergencies. The other experts she will arrange to fly to Pacifica imdiately."
"What doctor?" Baron Lawrence suddenly interjected.
Hayes didn’t know he didn’t know, "A heart specialist."
"Heart?" He seed to realize sothing, his expression changed, and he quickly rushed to Enna Clark’s side in a few steps, grabbed her wrist, and asked with a pale face, "Enna Clark, what’s wrong with your heart?"
How did he not know she had heart disease?
What exactly was she hiding from him!
