Chapter 1712: Chapter 1702: Mom’s period来了
Enna Clark reached out to cover her lower abdon.
Scott Harris noticed her face didn’t look well and asked with concern, “Ms. Clark, are you feeling unwell anywhere?”
Enna’s abdon was faintly aching, and she more or less knew what was going on, “…No.”
Then she asked a bit awkwardly, “Um… Mr. Har… is there any…”

She braced herself and said it, “nstrual pads… do you have any?”
Seeing her pale face as she clutched her stomach, Scott thought she might not be feeling well and needed the dicine box, but it turned out she needed… nstrual pads. As a professional housekeeper, after a brief pause, he promptly said, “We haven’t prepared for that at the mont. Ms. Clark, please wait a mont, I’ll imdiately go buy so for you. May I ask if you have a preferred brand of nstrual pads?”
Being asked this by a man made Enna feel awkward, but the dull pain in her lower abdon made her overlook the embarrassnt, “I’m fine with anything, I don’t have a specific brand I use.”
“Alright. Please wait a mont, I’ll go buy them now.” Scott hurried out to buy them.
The maid, seeing Enna looking uncomfortable, helped her to sit on the sofa and then said, “Ms. Clark, it’s better not to drink coffee. I’ll brew so ginger tea for you. I make this every ti my stomach hurts, and it feels better after half an hour.”
“Okay, thank you.”
“I’ll prepare it quickly, Ms. Clark, please wait for .”
The maid quickly ran to the kitchen.
Ginger tea is simply made by boiling ginger slices in water, so shortly after, the maid ca out with the ginger tea.
“Ms. Clark, be careful, it’s hot.”
“Hmm.”
Enna saw the reddish water placed in front of her and figured sothing extra must have been added.
Before she could ask, the maid said, “I added so brown sugar in there for better effect.”
Enna picked up the cup and gave her a grateful smile.
The dull pain in her lower abdon beca more noticeable, and Enna was sure her period was coming. It had been a long ti since she felt this kind of pain because of her period. It seed that ever since she gave birth to Bobby, she hadn’t experienced this pain. She didn’t know why her period was so aggressive this ti, causing her face to turn pale.
Enna was in so much pain she didn’t even want to talk, holding the cup of tea in her hands, waiting for the ginger tea to cool down.
Rembering sothing, she asked the maid, “Is there any ibuprofen at ho? Could you check for ?”
“Sure, I’ll go look.”
Shortly after, the maid ca out with a blister pack of capsules and handed them to her, “Ms. Clark, here, is this the one?”
Orange and white capsules – what could they be but ibuprofen?
Enna took them, her brows relaxing a little, “Yes, this is it.”
She waited until the tea was warm enough to drink, then tilted her head back and gulped down a pill with the ginger tea.
Watching her take the dication, the maid hesitated to speak.
She wanted to advise her to minimize the intake of such strong pain dication but felt constrained by the rules, so she didn’t dare say much.
Enna slowly sipped down the entire cup of brown sugar ginger tea. She didn’t know whether it was the tea’s effect or the dication, but her stomach felt much more comfortable.
Scott Harris also ca back shortly with the items, handing a large bag to Enna as soon as he entered, awkwardly saying, “Ms. Clark, here are the things you needed. Since I wasn’t sure what kind you needed, I bought one pack of each type.”
He truly had no idea that the classification of won’s products was so wide-ranging. Besides brands, there were also different materials and uses, which made him dizzy just looking at them.
