Chapter 1730: Chapter 1720: No Need to Help Him, Let Him Kneel!

Scott Harris had been waiting outside all along, and as soon as he saw him co out, he imdiately approached, “Lord.”

Why is the left side of the Lord’s face so red?

Could it be that the Lord accidentally bumped his face?

He dared only to glance quickly before averting his gaze, helping to open the car door.

The aloof and handso man bent down to get into the car, and the door shut instantly, “To the airport.”

“Yes.”

The Lincoln Stretch Limousine headed towards Pacifica Airport…

The best hospital in Country W was currently in a bustling state.

Over a hundred dical staff were shuttling back and forth in the VIP Hospital Room of Langley Garden, the entire Langley Garden was surrounded by Lawrence Family bodyguards, and apart from the dical staff and the patients’ families, reporters had no chance of sneaking in.

In addition to the surrounding area of Langley Garden being guarded by bodyguards of the Lawrence Family, the sixth floor where Old Master Lawrence was staying had bodyguards every few steps.

From the elevators to the staircases, they were providing comprehensive protection for the safety of the people in the Presidential Ward.

All of this was arranged by Baron Lawrence.

A reporter previously tried to disguise himself as a doctor to sneak in, not knowing that facial recognition and identity registration had been done for every dical person who might reach the sixth floor. From the mont he snuck into the elevator, the facial recognition system had already identified him, so as soon as he stepped out of the elevator, he was discovered and promptly thrown out of the hospital by the bodyguards, utterly disgraced.

This was why, despite the uproar surrounding the Lawrence Corporation shareholders’ eting so ti ago, not a single journalist managed to capture any photos of Old Master Lawrence in the hospital for their stories.

At the mont.

The bodyguards of Langley Garden were on high alert, watching every person coming and going carefully.

In the Presidential Ward, the Housekeeper had already woken up first and was standing by the bedside, attending to the old man who had just regained consciousness.

Old Master Lawrence was notably thinner after a severe illness, but what remained unchanged were his sharp eyes and powerful aura.

“…The Young Master had already detected the issue with the stocks, rooted out the mole, and made preparations. Ms. Skye insisted on holding a shareholders’ eting, only to lose the vote by 75 to 25. Afterwards, the Young Master convened an internal eting of the corporation and had several of Ms. Skye’s people sent to the Economic Cri Investigation Bureau…” Although the Housekeeper had only woken up one day earlier than Old Master Lawrence, his spirit appeared sowhat better. He had already donned his usual British tuxedo, his hair ticulously combed, as he reported the developnts of the day to Old Master Lawrence.

Old Master Lawrence, having just awoken, was still feeling quite unwell. Hearing this, he rubbed his temples and asked, “Where is Nicholas?”

“The Second Young Master is outside.” The Housekeeper’s every move resembled a strict gentleman, impeccably so.

Old Master Lawrence pursed his lips slightly and said, “Let him in.”

“Alright.”

The Housekeeper exited.

Shortly after, a rugged, tall man walked in—who else but Nicholas Lawrence?

Nicholas Lawrence, after the incident with Skye, appeared sowhat disheartened, yet he still exhibited the decisive deanor characteristic of the Lawrence Family.

He had a rough idea of why Old Master Lawrence had called him in, his lips pressed tightly together, as he approached the bedside.

Without waiting for Old Master Lawrence to speak, he suddenly knelt straight down—

Everyone in the ward was taken aback by his action, utterly stunned.

The Housekeeper was the quickest to react, motioning for the dical staff to leave first, reaching out to assist him, “Second Young Master…”

Old Master Lawrence’s sharp gaze seed capable of piercing the heart, he stopped the Housekeeper, “Don’t help him, let him kneel!”

“Now that you’re kneeling before , do you know what she did?”
