Enna Clark asked the maid who was making a new cup of coffee for her, "Where is Little Uncle?"
The maid imdiately stopped what she was doing and said respectfully, "The Master is at the company. There are a few etings today. Before leaving, the Master asked to tell you, Miss, that he might return late tonight because he has an engagent he can’t decline this evening."
"I see," she rubbed her temples, looking weary.
The maid didn’t dare disturb her and quietly went about her own business.
