Backstage, the manager finally caught up with August Oliver, spittle flying as he nagged, "August, why did you pull this stunt at the concert? Do you have any idea how the dia has been bombarding my phone? The company hasn’t even prepared any ergency asures, and the internet is about to explode..."
His face full of frustration, temples throbbing, he continued to tug on the man’s sleeve, "I’ve already set the bar low for you guys. August, please, next ti you have an idea, at least let know. He hadn’t considered that before this bold and romantic declaration, August Oliver had no idea whether Olivia Lewis would accept.
The boldest scenario he could imagine was August choosing to confess at the concert for the sake of romance.
He never thought August would confess under the pressure of being potentially rejected in front of thousands.
"And Ms. Lewis... where is Ms. Lewis? It’s already happened. Let’s all just sort out the story together."
Since the confession had already been made at the concert, their task now was to spin a romantic tale of the couple’s love, capitalizing on August Oliver’s genuine and masculine nature to minimize the loss of fans.
With his mind made up, the manager looked around and asked, "August, where’s Ms. Lewis? I haven’t seen her since the beginning."
"She’s gone."
"Gone?!" the manager was stunned.
August Oliver had already pulled his hand away, removed the headset from his ears and placed it backstage, then defiantly slung his shoulder bag over his shoulder and headed out.
The manager snapped out of his initial shock, hurriedly caught up to him, and anxiously asked, "August, where are you going?"
"To et up with them." August waved his hand nonchalantly without turning back, saying, "I’ll leave the rest to you, thanks."
The manager was alard seeing him truly leaving, "Wait, August, are you just going to walk away like this?"
"August?"
"August..."
No matter how he called after him, the man never stopped.
He helplessly watched the tall silhouette disappear from his sight, stomping his foot in urgency. Another glance revealed no sign of Annan and the others backstage, clearly they had slipped away first.

The manager belatedly realized he’d been duped yet again, his entire body aching with frustration.
The director, whose face was still tense from calming the dia, finally walked over. Spotting the manager, he imdiately asked, "Where are August and the others? And Ms. Lewis? Get them ready to return to the company first and discuss a strategy for handling online public opinion. Also, see if there’s a need for a press conference tomorrow."
"... About that." Unable to et the director’s eyes, the manager took a deep breath and confessed, "August and the others... have already left."
"What did you say? They’ve left! How could you let this happen at such a crucial mont! Why didn’t you stop them? How are they supposed to rehearse their lines now? What kind of manager are you..."
Sure enough, the manager was t with a torrent of reprimands.
