Chapter 1817: Chapter 1807: Adam Sinclair Still t Her
Olivia Lewis gritted her teeth and said, “Tell him I want to see him! If he doesn’t see , I’ll wait outside until he has ti to see !”
“This…” The secretary looked a bit troubled and said, “Ms. Lewis, President Sinclair has already said he won’t see you. How about you go ho today and co back tomorrow?”
“I want to see him today. It’s okay, I’ll wait here.” Olivia sat down on the sofa to the side.
The secretary returned to the front desk, glancing at her now and then.
A full two hours passed.
Seeing Olivia still showed no intention of leaving, the secretary couldn’t hold back any longer and reluctantly made another internal call to the President’s office.
After hanging up the phone, she walked around the front desk and approached the person who had been waiting quietly for two hours, respectfully saying, “Ms. Lewis, please go in. President Sinclair said he would see you.”
“He wants to see ?” Olivia stood up suddenly, a bit in disbelief. She thought she would have to wage a long-term battle and wouldn’t catch him before 7 or 8 PM. Unexpectedly, Adam Sinclair changed his mind.
“Yes, President Sinclair said he would see you.” The secretary gave her a confird answer.
After thanking her, Olivia took a deep breath and headed towards the President’s office.
This wasn’t Olivia’s first ti at the Stellar Entertainnt’s President’s office, but it was her first ti after breaking up with Adam Sinclair.
She pushed open the door to the President’s office.
The office that t her eyes was spacious and grand, with a modern minimalist style that was simple but not easy. From the sofa to the ceiling lamp, to the potted plants and other details, every part was exquisite and luxurious, revealing the owner’s extraordinary taste and ticulous pursuit of detail.
Adam Sinclair sat behind the desk, with a pair of gold-rimd glasses on his nose, and said without looking up, “I only have ten minutes. Speak, why did you co to see ?”
Olivia looked at him with complex eyes, tightened her red lips, and asked, “Those endorsents that August Oliver lost, was it your doing?”
The elite-looking man paused the pen in his hand, abruptly looked up, and his eyes were sharp, “Did you rush to see and wait outside for two hours just to ask this?”
“Olivia Lewis, when we were together, you never waited for for more than half an hour.”
He spoke calmly, but his eyes were already brewing a storm.
Facing his accusation, Olivia said steadily, “I have waited. You just never noticed back then.”
When they first got together, sotis she would wait for him a whole day and night.
But he just didn’t know.
Even on the day before she went to the hospital for an abortion, she had waited for a whole day without seeing him, which was why she went to find him and why she finally gave up and decided not to have the child.
The sharp look in Adam Sinclair’s eyes softened into helplessness and heartache when they touched her fair face.
He silently tightened the grip on the pen in his hand, not knowing what to do with her.
“It was .”
“Why?” Olivia didn’t understand.
Adam put down the pen and returned to his usual noble deanor, “Why do you think? If he dared to confess to you, he should be prepared to face the consequences.”
Olivia asked in disbelief, “Just because he confessed to , you’re going to shut him out?”
“Yes!” Adam gave her a definite answer, his elegant face exuding a sense of killing intent, “Replacing a few endorsents is just the beginning. You haven’t seen a real shutdown yet!”
