"Let’s go in, Olivia." Having stunned the reporters, Enna Clark pulled Olivia Lewis into the venue.
Panda’s annual show is related to the new designs set to launch next year, making it the most important event of the brand’s year.
At the entrance, Enna Clark handed her invitation to the staff, who checked it and imdiately let them in. This year’s Panda show the is "Illusions of Water and Flowers," and the entire venue was decorated gorgeously, every corner exquisite.
Prada, as the brand director, obviously had no ti to greet guests before the show started. The staff led Enna Clark to the seats that Prada had prepared in advance, and said, "Ms. Clark, these are your seats, please wait a mont, the show is about to start."
"Okay, thank you."
Enna Clark led Olivia Lewis to sit down.
She hadn’t been seated long before she noticed the elegant lady she t at the Pacifica banquet being guided by the staff to the seats beside them.
The lady’s eyes lit up upon seeing her and she greeted her warmly, "Ms. Clark."
Then she noticed Olivia Lewis sitting next to Enna Clark and first gave her a once-over. She smiled and asked, "Is this the friend you ntioned last ti? I watched your movie, ’Assassin’s Chronicles,’ and your performance was excellent."
Enna Clark hadn’t expected Prada would arrange her to sit next to Olivia Lewis, and with gratitude in her heart, she promptly introduced the two to each other.
Olivia Lewis was the type with a bold personality, while the lady was skilled in social interactions. With Enna occasionally finding topics to talk about between them, it took less than ten minutes for them to beco quite friendly.
"By the way, Ms. Lewis, Ms. Clark ntioned you’ve won quite a few awards. My husband happens to be investing in a movie recently. We’re looking for first-class actors, and I think you’d be perfect for one of the roles. I wonder if you have any availability lately..."
She hadn’t finished speaking when an untily voice interjected, "Enna, I’ve finally found you."
That voice was...
Enna Clark frowned.
Miranda Lewis briskly approached from behind them, with a faux surprised and delighted smile on her face, addressing Olivia Lewis, "Oh, Sister Olivia is here too. What a coincidence."
Olivia Lewis never hid her dislike for soone, and unabashedly said, "Didn’t you see us on the red carpet? And now you suddenly realize I’m here? Are your eyes defective or is your response ti just really slow? If it’s your eyes, you’d better get them checked at the hospital before you end up blind while still young. That would be so unfortunate."
Miranda Lewis, exposed and rebuked by her words, turned pale with a mix of expressions but couldn’t show it in front of the lady. Forcedly, she made a stiff smile and tried to backtrack, "Sister Olivia, you misunderstood, I didn’t notice you at the red carpet earlier."
Before she could finish, Olivia Lewis, utterly unyielding, interrupted, "Oh, so it’s your ears then. On a re two hundred-ter red carpet with hundreds of dia shouting so loudly, and you couldn’t hear? Your ears are basically useless."
Miranda Lewis was caught right there, and the little escape she gave herself was kicked down by Olivia Lewis. Her face turned red and purple with anger. She clenched her fists, secretly resenting Enna Clark for not speaking up for her, and forced a smile, pretending not to hear Olivia’s sarcasm. She squeezed her way onto the seat next to Enna Clark, "Enna, it’s been a while, how have you been?"
