Olivia Lewis lost control and cried for over ten minutes, finally feeling a bit better.
She casually wiped her face and, both crying and laughing, said, “See, I told you the disinfectant in the hospital stings the eyes. Look at my eyes. Seriously… Emma, damn it, it’s a good thing I didn’t wear makeup when I left the house.”

Just as they were talking, a commotion suddenly erupted in the corridor.
A flamboyant wealthy woman, surrounded by bodyguards, hurriedly approached.
Olivia Lewis’s smile paused and slowly faded.
The wealthy woman quickly arrived at the door of the operating room.
Adam Sinclair’s secretary imdiately went up to greet her, bowing respectfully, “Madam.”
“What’s the situation inside? Why did the car accident happen?” Mrs. Sinclair asked, strong and proud.
“President Sinclair is still in surgery; I don’t know the specific situation either, and dical staff have yet to co out.”
“Why on earth would my son get into a car accident?” Mrs. Sinclair frowned, sharply questioning.
The secretary, pressured by her question, broke out in a thin layer of sweat as he explained, “The car President Sinclair was in got hit by a violating truck while turning; that’s how the accident occurred.”
“Accident?” Mrs. Sinclair raised her voice, clearly unwilling to believe it was just an accident.
Her gaze suddenly caught sight of Olivia Lewis in the corner, her brows knitted high as she pointed at Olivia Lewis, displeased, asking, “Why is she here?”
She had figured it out—why her son, who had settled down, suddenly got involved in various scandals with minor celebrities and models, and told her he doesn’t plan on marrying in this lifeti.
In the end, it was to make her accept this woman.
She had investigated; Olivia Lewis wasn’t in any secret marriage nor had children with anyone. That day in the café, she was played for a fool.

A nurse, masked and with blood-covered hands, hurriedly ca out. Scanning over the people outside the operating room, loudly asking, “Have the patient’s family arrived?”
