Chapter 1938: Chapter 1948: What Are Father and Son Competing About Now
It was already half-past nine when they returned to the villa.
Enna Clark ca out after her bath to find that the big one and the little one had already finished their baths and were playing on the sofa.
Bobby, in his little tiger pajamas, was sitting on the left playing on the iPad. Baron Lawrence was in a silver-gray robe, sitting on the right, tapping away on his laptop.
The two of them didn’t interfere with each other yet were surprisingly harmonious.
Bobby was the first to notice her coming out of the bathroom. He looked up, put down the iPad, and jumped off the sofa, saying, “Woman, you finally ca out. I thought you fell in. You’re so slow, just like a snail.”

Baron Lawrence seed to have said sothing like this before.
They truly are father and son.
In a flash, he was already walking over in adult slippers, stopping in front of Enna Clark and holding her hand, saying, “I brought the detective storybook you bought for . Tell a story tonight. I can only fall asleep if you tell a story.”
Enna Clark instinctively glanced at the person on the sofa.
As expected, the person who was previously engrossed in work had already lifted his head, his handso face showing displeasure, his sharp eyes narrowing, looking displeased at Bobby. His thin lips touched, “Didn’t you say you were a grown man already?”
Bobby turned his head, speaking boldly, “A grown man can also listen to stories to sleep! I’m not listening to Grimm’s Fairy Tales, it’s Sherlock Hols!”
Enna Clark felt a headache coming on.
She simply couldn’t understand what the two of them were arguing about.
But she was definitely more worried about Bobby not being able to sleep. “Alright, I’ll tell you a story. You go in first.”
“Yay~!” Bobby nearly jumped up.
Before dashing into the bedroom, he didn’t forget to turn back and give the man on the sofa a provocative look before running to his room.
Once he was inside.
The person on the sofa imdiately ground his teeth and muttered, “Enna Clark!”
The voice was full of dissatisfaction!
Now that they had nded their relationship, reunited, the reunion sweeter than the first wedlock…whatever! Anyway, she was supposed to spend more ti with him at night! Damn, she actually agreed to read a storybook to the kid!
Lads shouldn’t be spoiled like this!
She spoils Tobias Clark way too much, almost to an outrageous point!
Enna Clark pretended not to hear the strong discontent in his voice, feigned ignorance and said, “You go ahead and sleep. I’ll put Bobby to bed first. It might be very late, you don’t have to wait up for .”
“I’ll wait for you!” he said decisively!
Enna Clark had no choice but to say, “I tell you, it might be very late. Bobby doesn’t sleep well. He finds it hard to sleep when he changes places.”
She also feared that while telling the story, she might fall asleep just like Bobby. Wouldn’t Baron Lawrence end up waiting until the break of dawn?

“I said I’ll wait for you!” His intense hawk-like eyes fixated on her, as if he wanted to swallow her whole.
Enna Clark knew what that look ant, quickly turned her head, awkwardly avoiding his gaze, almost fleeing, “Okay, I’ll do my best. You head in first.”
With that, she quickly slipped into Bobby’s room and clicked the door shut.
Once the beige door was firmly closed, Baron Lawrence slowly withdrew his gaze, set his laptop aside, got up, walked to the counter, brewed himself a cup of coffee, then sat back down.
No matter how late, he would wait!
