The young woman’s eyes were red too, but she appeared much more composed than the elder who had lost control. She looked at Enna, nodded to her and said, “I know this was an accident, but my mother-in-law, having to bury a child, lost control of her emotions and even hit your staff, I’m sorry.”
Enna already understood their family’s situation, biting her lip hard enough to almost bleed as she said, “No, the person who should apologize is .”
She shared the resolution she had co up with with the younger woman.
When the woman heard that Rhine would help her child go to school and assist in finding a job, despair in her eyes eased a lot. Yet she still couldn’t hide the sadness as she said, “Thank you.”
