Olivia Lewis was trembling all over, unsure if it was from anger or cold. She suddenly tore off the wig on her head and threw it on the ground, letting out a cold laugh. “Forget it! I’m not filming anymore!”
The Director imdiately stood up, blocking her with displeasure. “Ms. Lewis, what are you doing?”
“I’m not doing anything. I’m not filming!” Olivia Lewis looked at him coldly, not backing down an inch.
The Director imdiately sneered, “You say you’re not filming, and that’s it? We’ve all been waiting for you all day. If you don’t film, I’ll let the dia expose you! Are you sure you want to create a scandal at this ti?”
Due to the statent incident, Olivia Lewis’s reputation had already been tarnished.
If news of her being a diva broke out now, her reputation would only get worse.
What does one aim for in the entertainnt industry? It’s fa!
For every artist, fa is crucial; he didn’t believe Olivia Lewis wouldn’t care!
“I’m sure!” Unexpectedly, Olivia wasn’t scared at all and retorted right back. Then she took a step forward, and from the corner of her eye, she noticed the enchanting Lisa beside her. Suddenly stopping, she said, “Oh right, I forgot sothing.”
She turned around, with no hesitation of a star’s image, and grabbed a bucket of partially empty ice water from the props team on the ground. She suddenly walked to Lisa and the Director, and amidst their shocked expressions, she lifted the bucket and splashed water onto them.
“Ah, what are you doing!”
“Ah…”
The two jumped up like clowns, screaming incessantly.
Olivia put down the bucket, sowhat regretful as she looked at Lisa with her hair and face just wet. She was annoyed that there wasn’t enough water in the bucket.
She flashed her eight perfectly aligned teeth, saying, “No big deal, just giving you a face wash. So that the powder on your face doesn’t keep falling off; it pains for the skincare products you endorse to see it. Such bad skin, even makeup can’t stick. If people outside saw it, how would they buy the products you endorse? But don’t worry, so ice water should do the trick. I rember you endorsed a skincare product claiming to give ‘Freezing-Point Skin’, right? Ice water is anti-aging, perfect for those creases at the corner of your eyes.”
“As for Director Lane, I was just helping you experience what crying in ice water feels like. A director needs to empathize with the characters to produce good work, doesn’t he?”
“You—” The Director was so angry his face turned green.
Olivia wiped the water off her face, smirking, which made people overlook how she was shivering from the cold. She cheekily interjected, “Director Lane, no need to thank . It’s what I should do. I know you are touched, but there’s no need for gratitude. After all, we won’t be working together anymore in the future!”
Lisa’s assistant finally helped her wipe the ice water off her face. The woman, unable to maintain her enchanting deanor, snorted coldly, shedding her earlier sisterly appearance and revealing her true self, “Olivia Lewis, you think you can just refuse to film!”
“Otherwise? I’m not like you, unable to leave the house without makeup.”
She really knew where to hit where it hurt.
Lisa cared most about her skin, yet she was naturally plagued with bad, dull skin, appearing old. Without makeup, she couldn’t leave the house. Not to ntion, without makeup, it was easy to see the needle marks from too much hyaluronic acid injections.
Everyone in the circle knew this open secret, but no one had ever bluntly stated it like Olivia Lewis, everyone stifling their laughter.
Lisa was so angry her face changed, nearly twisting her nose, snorting coldly with pride, “Your Manager has already signed the contract for you. If you refuse to film, you have to pay three hundred thousand in compensation. Are you planning to pay, or let your Manager do it?”
