From her perspective, it’s unlikely Skye would act so impulsively now.
"I understand."
Baron Lawrence glared at her and emphasized, "Not just understand, rember it! Next ti, you must tell !"
"..."
"Also, rember to keep your distance from Skye. This ti, she’ll likely be detained for a while, but with Oscar around, she might just get probation. Probation only ans she can’t leave the country, so be more cautious in Country W. It’s best if you go anywhere with ."
"She’s not as simple as you think. This ti, she just underestimated you, which is why you caught her out so easily. If she tries to harm you again, it won’t be as simple as this."
A glimr of darkness flashed in Baron’s eyes.
He was very displeased with what Skye did, but since it involved her, it wasn’t out of his expectations.
He furrowed his dashing eyebrows, extrely irritated.
He couldn’t understand why Skye held such a grudge against this woman. Clearly, when Skye first t this woman, she didn’t seem so antagonistic. Back then, she even helped him hide it from the Old Man.
Why did Skye’s hostility towards this woman grow so much afterward? He couldn’t figure out what was going on in Skye’s head.
Baron furrowed his brows fiercely, the crease between his eyebrows could almost kill a fly!
The Old Man has accepted Enna Clark.
Why does Skye keep targeting Enna Clark over and over again?
And each ti more viciously, each ti more severely.
His heart twisted a little.
He wasn’t worried about anything else, just concerned that after this lesson, Skye might still stubbornly try to trouble Enna Clark.
He and Skye grew up together.
No matter what, Skye is different from others to him. He couldn’t possibly treat Skye like he would others who try to harm Enna Clark, by just kicking them far away.
Of course, he could do that, but doing so would definitely hurt his Second Uncle.
Baron’s handso face showed a complex expression as he looked down at Enna Clark, gripping her wrist, and with pursed lips, he said, "This ti, Enna Clark, you did well. Second Uncle... is very grateful to you."
He paused, awkwardly added, "The Old Man too, he didn’t say it, but deep down he’s grateful you gave Skye a chance."
Enna looked at his insincere expression, wanting to laugh but restrained herself.
He clearly wanted to say he was also grateful she gave Skye a chance, but just wouldn’t admit it.
Moreover, who was it that had her pinned against the railing earlier, gritting his teeth, accusing her of not telling him in advance? And now suddenly saying she did well.
So, just like the unpredictable March weather, Baron’s mood was completely unpredictable.
Sure enough...
The man who had spoken softly a mont ago suddenly beca domineering and stern again, "But next ti, if sothing similar happens, you still must tell first! Don’t make decisions on your own! Think about Tobias Clark, think about Giselle Lawrence, and then think if you really want to take that risk!"
Enna was frustrated by his words, helplessly retorting, "It’s not as dangerous as you make it out to be. I just wanted to give her another chance."
