She tried to maintain a composed face, not letting anyone see, and said coldly, “Leave it there.”
The nurse hesitated for a mont, saying, “Miss Lawrence, the temperature is just right now. If you leave it a while, the honey water will cool down. The doctor advised that you shouldn’t drink anything cold at this ti.”
“I said leave it there, don’t you understand?” Skye Lawrence interrupted her.

Oscar rely gave the nurse an apple, and didn’t speak much to her. He then turned his head, saying to Skye, “You should rest well. I have sothing to attend to, so I’ll be going first.”

Oscar glanced at her and then turned to leave.
The hospital room door quickly closed.
A wave of desolation surged up in Skye Lawrence’s heart, her stomach pain reaching its extre, yet she didn’t want to tell anyone.
She felt she deserved this suffering, it was a punishnt she ought to accept.
Since it was punishnt, wasn’t it better to grit her teeth and endure?
At this mont, the room door was opened again.
