The next noon, Enna Clark finally got out of bed.
After washing up, her legs felt like they were stepping on cotton, almost slick.
She walked out of the bedroom.
Joanne Harrison imdiately greeted her, "Young Madam, morning."
"Morning." Enna spent so alone ti with her last night and found this girl quite kind and upright, her fondness for her increased considerably.
Joanne also liked her very much. Seeing that she didn’t look too well, she asked with concern, "Young Madam, would you like a cup of hot milk? I can make one for you."
"No, just a cup of plain water will do."
"Alright."
Joanne had already prepared the plain water, and the temperature was just right.
She poured a cup and quickly handed it to Enna, "Here you go, Young Madam, plain water. After you finish it, have so breakfast. President Lawrence has prepared lean at porridge for you."
Enna Clark drank a big cup of water, glanced at the man sitting on the living room sofa having a video conference, bathed in sunlight, glowing all over, unconsciously rubbed her right wrist, her fingertips slightly trembling.
Luckily, her period hadn’t finished yesterday, otherwise...
But today, it’s bad.
Her period had already ended.
"Young Madam? Will you have so?" Joanne Harrison didn’t know what she was thinking, seeing no response after asking for a long ti, couldn’t help but call her again.
"Oh, oh." Enna ca back to her senses, feeling guilty as she withdrew her gaze and turned, "Yes."
"Alright, I’ll go prepare. Young Madam, have a seat first."
Joanne first helped her to pull out a chair at the dining table, then hurriedly rushed into the kitchen.
Soon, a steaming bowl of lean at porridge was placed in front of her.
By then, it was almost noon, and Enna was indeed hungry.
She didn’t continue thinking about yesterday’s events, focusing on eating her breakfast.
Once she finished the big bowl of lean at porridge, she realized that the man having a video conference in the living room had sohow walked over to her side, pinched her belly, and disdainfully said, "Enna Clark, where does all that food go when you eat so much all day?"
Didn’t see her gain any weight.
Still looked slim.
Enna slapped his hand away, glared at him unkindly, "Into my stomach."
Baron Lawrence wasn’t angry at her for slapping his hand away. Cheerfully, he grabbed her wrist, uttering in a straightforward manner, "No matter how ugly you get, I’ll still want you."
Enna felt stifled, "..." Just how ugly does he think she looks?
"Finished eating?" Baron Lawrence pulled her up, his handso eyebrows relaxed, "Let’s go."
"Where to?"
Baron Lawrence glared at her with a dangerous reminder, "Enna Clark, don’t tell you’ve forgotten we’re here for our honeymoon?"
They were here for their honeymoon, but his plans from the very start had been disrupted by all sorts of random people.
And then she encountered unexpected delays over these few days.
If they don’t go out now, his honeymoon will be over!
"Going on a honeymoon! I found an absolutely undisturbed place, we’ll go stay there for two days!" He paused, not giving Enna ti to say anything else, decisively declared, "Swallow any words you have, I’ve already decided. No one will ss up my plan."
"...If we’re going to stay, you’ve got to let pack so essentials, right?"
Baron Lawrence led her outside, talking as they walked, "No need, Scott Harris has already prepared everything you need. You don’t need to bring anything; just bring yourself."
