Enna Clark only feels calm and completely unaffected by the rumors she heard earlier.
She’s curious about Baron Lawrence and Miranda Lewis’s situation and feels like Baron is hiding sothing from her, but she doesn’t believe Baron had an affair with Miranda.
This man has taken her to watch the stars, go skydiving, and even brought her to a cetery. She doesn’t believe he would suddenly fall for another woman not long after they just got married.
And that woman being Miranda Lewis.
She believes Baron liking Miranda is as unlikely as a cot crashing into Earth.
Absolutely impossible!
Enna Clark put down her coffee cup, and after thinking it through, she felt even calr and continued reading her book.
She waited for Baron Lawrence to return to ask him clearly face-to-face.
Enna Clark waited for two hours.
During the ti, Assistant Terrence ca in to replace her coffee twice, and on the third ti he ca in, he couldn’t help but put down the freshly brewed coffee and said to Enna Clark, "Young Madam, let call the President to check if he’s done yet."
It’s been two hours, and the President hasn’t returned; he’s really worried that the President doesn’t plan to co back at all today.
He can’t keep the Young Madam waiting here, can he?
"What ti is it now?"
"It’s half past eleven."
Enna Clark looked up at the quartz clock on the wall; it was indeed half past eleven, and she had already waited a full two hours.
She hesitated for a mont, then took out her phone and said, "I’ll call."
Assistant Terrence quickly stopped her, "Young Madam, let call."
Darn, he wouldn’t dare let the Young Madam call; what if she calls and that woman’s the one who answers? That would be disastrous.
Assistant Terrence’s mind raced as he firmly refused to let Enna Clark make the call, "I’ll do it, Young Madam. Leave it to , just sit here and wait a mont."
"I’ll use the office phone."
With that, he started walking towards Baron Lawrence’s desk...
He was only halfway there when Enna Clark’s phone rang.
She glanced at the caller ID, stood up, and answered the call, "Hey, Olivia? Now? No, I’m not busy. Mm, sure, of course. I’ll definitely co over. Give half an hour; I’ll be there shortly."
After hanging up, she called out to Assistant Terrence, who had just picked up the office phone, "I’m sorry, no need to call him anymore. I need to go out for a while. My friend suddenly needs . Since Baron Lawrence hasn’t finished his work yet, he can keep busy. I’ll co back this afternoon after I’m done with my friend. By then, he should be done too."
Olivia called to say she had secured a new advertising shoot, marking her first coback job, and wanted Enna’s company for courage.

So asking Baron Lawrence about Miranda Lewis will have to wait until after she has accompanied Olivia through her first ad shoot this afternoon.
Besides, he hasn’t finished his work to return to the company yet.

Assistant Terrence heard she was leaving and would return in the afternoon and imdiately let out a sigh of relief, putting down the receiver, "Is that so? Okay, Young Madam. Should I arrange a driver for you?"
