Scott Harris’s behavior was so unusual that Enna Clark would have found it strange not to notice it at all.
She frowned slightly, still trying to figure it out, when her wrist was firmly seized by soone.
“Baron Lawrence?”
The proud man’s eagle-like eyes locked onto her, hoarsely asking, “You want to take the dication?”
Enna Clark was baffled by his question, “Why wouldn’t you take dicine if you have a fever?”
“So you want to take it?” He seed particularly concerned about this, emphasizing his tone, and asked again.
Enna thought he didn’t want to take it and nodded seriously, “Yes, I want you to take it.”
“If I wanted you to take it, would you?”
Reflected in Baron Lawrence’s pupils was her image. Not a single eyebrow moved on his handso, sculpted face as he resolutely answered, “I would!”
If he hadn’t answered so seriously, Enna wouldn’t have thought anything of it.
But his imdiate, serious response made Enna feel as if she was about to feed him poison.
Yet she just felt his forehead was burning and wanted him to take a fever reducer.
Enna’s eyebrows tightened, unable to understand.
Baron Lawrence had already said, “There’s bottled water on the table; if you pour it for , I’ll take it.”
“But Mr. Harris already went to…”
“He won’t co out; don’t wait for him,” he interrupted her quickly, speaking nonchalantly.

Enna was even more puzzled.

Mr. Harris just went to the kitchen to refill a cup of water. Why wouldn’t he co out?
She felt both of their behaviors were weird, as if they were hiding sothing from her.
Enna couldn’t pinpoint what she felt, just that today, their words and actions were mysteriously peculiar.
“Will you or won’t you pour it? If not, I won’t take the dicine.”
She hadn’t had ti to figure it out when her thoughts were interrupted.
Enna could only twist her wrist, which he held, and said, “You have to let go of first so I can help you pour, right?”

Baron Lawrence released her hand.
The sudden absence in his palm left him with a slight feeling of emptiness, thankfully, she was right beside him.
His gaze was tightly focused on Enna Clark, watching her quickly find a cup, pour the water, and walk up to him.
“Here, water. Take your dicine.” Enna tilted her head back, handing him the cup as she spoke.
Baron Lawrence gazed at her serene face, suddenly leaned in close to her ear, gently bit, and as she gasped, rasped, “Alright.”
He quickly withdrew, and under Enna’s gaze, tilted back his head, tossed the fever dicine into his mouth, and with her hand, grabbed the cup and drank.
Enna watched him obediently take the fever dicine at last, and let out a sigh of relief.
Just as she was about to set down the cup.
She was suddenly pulled into an embrace—
“Oof.” Caught off guard, Enna’s nose collided with his solid chest, her eyes watering from the pain.

Before she could finish.
His sandalwood-scented lips pressed down, and soft lips, saturated with the taste of hormones, pried open her mouth and dominated her…
