He didn’t rush to answer the phone. Instead, he first opened the car door, got out with his phone, and walked to the side.

However, after she went down, she truly noticed two strange n seemingly following her. She suddenly rembered what Baron Lawrence had told her, summoned her courage, and decided to gamble.
Gambling on how much this man really cared about whether soone was following her.
As it turned out, her bold gamble paid off.
She seed to have figured out a way to spend more ti with this man.
Miranda’s eyes darted around quickly as she pretended to be scared, saying, "President Lawrence, who on earth is following ? I haven’t offended anyone. What should I do now? Call the police?"
There’s no way Baron Lawrence would let her call the police. Wouldn’t calling the police scare them off?
Even though he was reluctant to see Miranda’s pretentious behavior again, he still said, "Wait there, I’m coming over right now."
"President Lawrence, you’re coming over?" Miranda was truly delighted this ti.
Baron Lawrence, however, didn’t respond to her at all and hung up the phone rcilessly.
After putting down the phone, he furrowed his brows, planning to go back and tell Enna Clark to go ho first.

Enna Clark’s tone was casual, and her expression was natural, but for so reason, his heart felt like it was being gripped by an invisible hand, his thin lips pressed tightly into a line, his hawk-like eyes staring at her, "Yes, I need to step out for a bit."
He was just going to the hotel to check if there were really people following Miranda.
If there were, he’d investigate the identities of those two people and see if he could uncover more information.
If not, and it was that woman’s fabricated lie to deceive him, then that woman was dead at!
