What he ant by watching a movie was actually a private screening.
One person reserved the entire cinema, and all the staff were there just for them.
With so many seats in the IMAX Theater, they could choose any they liked.
After Enna Clark picked a spot in the middle and sat down, the cinema manager personally brought over the movie brochures. With a big smile, he said, "President Lawrence, Ms. Clark. These are the brochures for movies currently showing. You can take a look and choose one to watch."
"Thank you." Enna Clark took the brochures he handed over and passed them to the person next to her, "Baron Lawrence, what do you want to watch?"
"Whatever." He said lazily, leaning back in his seat like a lord, his sharp eyes narrowing slightly.
Enna Clark really wanted to say sothing to him, but she held back in the end, softly saying, "You said you wanted to watch a movie, and now you won’t say what you want to see, how can I choose?"
After she finished speaking, she added, "At least tell what genre you want to watch. Romance, mystery, action? Pick one."
He said it was a movie date, but he rented out the whole cinema, and there’s no date atmosphere at all.
Just watching a movie, and he wouldn’t even say what to watch; Enna Clark was really getting frustrated by him.
Fortunately, before she went crazy, he finally lifted his hand and snatched the movie brochure, scanning through it quickly. After decisively choosing one, he tossed it to the cinema manager, "This one."
"Alright, President Lawrence." After the manager rembered which one he had ntioned, he took the brochure and prepared to leave and make arrangents.
He had already walked so distance.
Suddenly—
"Wait a mont."
The manager’s heart skipped a beat, and he quickly turned back with a smile, asking, "President Lawrence, do you have any other instructions?"
Baron Lawrence frowned, not understanding why he was so nervous, but seeing his tense appearance made him irritated. He coolly said, "Bring two Cokes and a popcorn."
"Cokes..." The manager thought he was suddenly called back for sothing important, but it turned out to be just for Coke, so he repeated it once, a bit puzzled.
"Don’t tell you don’t know what a Coke is." Baron Lawrence couldn’t understand how soone this slow beca the cinema manager.
Such a person with poor business skills wouldn’t even be suitable to do janitorial work at the Lawrence Headquarters.
Even with his slow reaction, the manager could sense his displeasure. Sweat almost broke out on his forehead, and he quickly said, "I know, I know."
To save face, he suddenly rembered to ask, "President Lawrence, would you like the Coke with ice or without ice?"
"One with ice, one..." He turned his head slightly, glancing at Enna Clark.
Enna Clark thought he was going to ask her.
To her surprise, he just glanced and imdiately instructed the manager, "One at room temperature."
"Alright, President Lawrence."
The manager dared not linger here any longer, found sothing to do, and quickly walked away...
In the vast movie theater, it was just the two of them and the staff serving them.
Because he didn’t like crowds, there were only two staff mbers, and they stood far away, almost negligible.
Enna Clark really didn’t see the point of a movie date like this. With that money, they might as well stay ho and watch with a laptop.
This really had no date atmosphere at all.
Baron Lawrence didn’t feel there was no date atmosphere at all. As long as she was by his side, every mont was thrilling. Especially when all the obtrusive people were gone, leaving just the two of them.
