Did Bobby really run to the WE Hotel to track his Little Uncle’s blind date like Baron Lawrence said?
Enna Clark was not the type to be easily swayed; otherwise, she wouldn’t repeatedly outwit Skye Lawrence, a strong woman. She was adept at observation and wouldn’t let others easily influence her judgnt.
But Baron Lawrence and Bobby were too consistent in their stories.
Initially, she didn’t believe what Baron Lawrence said before leaving, about Bobby interfering in Edward Jackson’s blind date. But hearing Bobby mumble about it over the phone made her half believe it.
"I didn’t know you were at your Granduncle’s. Fine, it’s my fault for being too sensitive. I’ll call your Granduncle later and apologize for you."
Only then did Bobby stop grumbling, "That’s more like it."
"When are you coming back?" Enna hadn’t seen him in person and was still worried.
Understanding that Enna was definitely concerned, Bobby thought for a mont and said, "Soon, probably about an hour. I’ll say goodbye to Grandma and co back. Dubious Man is here too, so I should at least chat with Grandma a bit."
"Okay, I’ll wait for you to return."
"Alright. I’ll hang up first; Dubious Man is rushing ."
"Bye-bye."
"Bye."
Bobby hung up the phone and put it down. The Presidential Suite was calm and luxurious, not as lively as he had just pretended in front of Enna.
The man who had supposedly been "rushing" him finally opened the door, walking in gracefully with a set of new clothes for a boy in his hand.
He walked into the living room, tossed the clothes onto the couch, and said, "Finished the call? Go to the room and change, I’ll wait outside."
"Okay." Bobby returned the phone to him, moved over, picked up the clothes from the sofa, and went to the room on his own.
He had always been independent, unlike Baron Lawrence, who completely lacked life skills.
Since he was young, Bobby could take care of himself, dressing and eating without any problem.
At age five, he could make simple egg fried rice.
At ten, dressing himself was no big deal, he certainly needed no assistance.
Not long after Bobby appeared in his new clothes. Baron Lawrence had selected a set with a British gentleman’s style, a shirt paired with overalls, which surprisingly suited him well.
Bobby walked out of the room to see the man sitting on the couch, looking at his phone. His profile was firm; sitting cross-legged, his long, straight legs were strikingly attractive, exuding nobility!
Ha! Dubious Man really draws attention, no wonder so many won want to throw themselves at him...
His eyes shifted to the coffee table, where a spread of food was laid out unbeknownst to him, causing his stomach to honestly let out a rumbling noise.
Bobby, conscious of his image, instinctively covered his stomach when it growled, his fair ear tips blushing slightly.
Baron Lawrence heard his stomach growl, looked up, and saw him co out. His dark, hawk-like eyes appeared cool and calm, yet within, they held an astonishing tenderness, "Co over, have sothing to eat."
"You should’ve told Enna Clark on the phone that you were at the WE Hotel the whole ti. You were in the hotel all night, no way you haven’t had dinner. I’ve already had dinner with Enna Clark; if you don’t eat now, you won’t get another chance till you return." Seeing Bobby not moving, Baron Lawrence raised an eyebrow and asked, "Do you want to go hungry all night?"
