His eyes suddenly darkened, inch by inch, becoming deeper and increasingly aggressive.
It wasn’t until he inadvertently tightened his grip that Enna Clark’s chin felt a sharp pain, causing her to gasp, that he ca back to his senses.
He quickly released his hold, took a deep breath, letting the fresh, cold air suppress so of the heat in his body, and imdiately stood up, saying, "I’ll go get you so ointnt."
Enna didn’t notice his brief change, rubbing the bridge of her nose as she stopped him, "Baron Lawrence, there’s no need. It doesn’t hurt much, just a slight sting from the impact; it’ll get better soon. No need for ointnt."
"I said you need it, so you need it!"
He knew better than anyone how delicate her skin was.
In bed, every ti he lightly sucked on her skin, it reddened quickly and would bruise afterward. As if he had roughly mishandled her.
He didn’t want to wake up tomorrow morning to find this woman’s nose bruised!
He always acted swiftly and decisively, quickly found the Mint Ointnt, unscrewed the cap, dabbed so with his finger, and insisted on applying it to Enna Clark’s reddened area.
After tending to her accidentally bumped nose, he carefully applied ointnt to her chin as well.
The mint ointnt felt cool and soothing on the skin, and Enna Clark wasn’t in much pain from the collision. After Baron Lawrence applied the ointnt, it was as if nothing happened.
Enna watched him put away the ointnt, his lowered eyes and perfect, cold profile, as she pursed her red lips and suddenly asked, "Baron Lawrence, did you really find Bobby at WE Hotel?"
She still felt that her Bobby might be lying.
Things weren’t that simple.
"Yes."
"But..."
Baron Lawrence swiftly capped the ointnt and threw it aside, turning back with a furrowed brow, interrupting her, "You don’t trust ?"
His retort was more effective than Bobby’s glibness.
The noble and aloof man successfully blocked her suspicions, then stood up and said, "I’m going to shower."
"Baron..." She wanted to ask about the afternoon...
Baron Lawrence seed to read her mind, frowning as he said, "If you’re bored, log into your ga account."
"What?" Log into the ga account for what.
She asked him, but he wouldn’t say, acting mysteriously, "Nothing."
With that, he headed towards the bedroom.
Enna Clark was baffled by his cryptic words, watching his back as she searched for her phone, puzzled, and opened the ga, logging into her account as he suggested.
Just as she logged in, the system popped up a ssage saying she had a skin to collect.
Enna clicked into the mail, and sure enough, there was a skin. Opening it, she saw it was sent from Baron Lawrence’s ga account.
And the skin was the reward from the competition she had ntioned to him at noon!
Did he really go and win the competition?
Enna was so shocked she nearly forgot to collect the skin.
She exited the mail interface and found the Expert Leaderboard nearby, and sure enough, on the latest Individual Solo Expert Leaderboard, Baron Lawrence’s nickna was prominently in first place.
