Capítulo 2514: Chapter 2523: Wendy Hanson Is Also at the Lawrence Family
Enna Clark was forcefully dragged into the car by him.
The white Bentley sped along, heading towards the Lawrence Castle.
The Lawrence Ancestral Ho sprawls over a large area, and even after entering the main gate, it takes over ten minutes to reach the front of the castle.
Baron Lawrence made a sharp turn with the car and stopped it in front of the castle. Two uniformly dressed servants imdiately stepped forward to help open the car door, “Lord, welco ho.”
Baron Lawrence expressionlessly got out of the car first, and then personally extended his hand towards the car interior. Enna Clark placed her hand in his palm and got out following him.
The servants were surprised to see her also in the car and quickly greeted, “Good morning, Young Madam.”
“Mm.” Compared to soone’s aloofness that pushed people away, Enna Clark was much warr and friendlier.
Unfortunately, the servants didn’t have much ti to feel Enna Clark’s warmth before she was already pulled away, “Follow .”
Baron Lawrence, tall and long-legged, carried her swiftly through the garden corridor, reaching outside Old Master Lawrence’s salon.
Unexpectedly, they encountered an unforeseen person—Wendy Hanson.
Today, Wendy Hanson was dressed much more simply than yesterday, with a white shirt and jeans giving her an elegant and poised air. It’s just that her attire style was so similar to yesterday’s that Enna Clark couldn’t help but feel Wendy was imitating her fashion.
Accompanied by the Housekeeper, Wendy Hanson seed montarily stunned upon bumping into Enna Clark and Baron Lawrence, but her gaze quickly shifted entirely onto the proud and noble man.
After more than two years, Brother Baron looked even more appealing.
The nobility in his brows and eyes almost made it impossible to look away.
She opened her mouth, just about to greet him.
Only to hear the Housekeeper’s interrupting voice, “Young Master, you’re back? The Old Lord is waiting for you inside, let take you in.”
“Mm.” Baron Lawrence held Enna Clark’s hand, about to go in together.
The Housekeeper noticed and awkwardly stopped him, saying, “Young Master, the Old Lord just asked to see you…”
Baron Lawrence’s eagle eyes narrowed, and an ominous expression flashed beneath his eyes.
Enna Clark quickly withdrew her hand from him before he could lose his temper, smiling pleasantly to break the deadlock, “Baron Lawrence, you should go in. I just played golf with Grandpa yesterday, he must have sothing important to discuss with you. I’ll wander around and wait for you to co out.”
The Housekeeper gave her a grateful look and agreed with the excuse Enna Clark provided, saying, “If possible, Young Madam, could you show Ms. Hanson around the garden? I need to take the Young Master inside and don’t have ti to accompany Ms. Hanson for now.”
After speaking, he turned to the person beside him, obliviously gazing at Baron Lawrence, and asked, “Ms. Hanson, you don’t mind, do you?”
Wendy Hanson snapped back to reality, pressed her lips, withdrew her gaze, glanced at Enna Clark, and, after pondering for a mont, agreed straightforwardly, “Of course, I don’t mind. It’s just trouble for Ms. Clark to guide . I haven’t visited here in a long ti, and many places are unfamiliar.”
Enna Clark noticed that her title had reverted back to Ms. Clark instead of Mrs. Lawrence and gave Wendy a thoughtful look, but didn’t embarrass her on the spot.
She’s still part of the Lawrence Family, despite her lack of affection towards Wendy, she gave face to the Housekeeper, “Ms. Hanson, shall we go?”
“Mm.”
The two walked off, one ahead of the other.
Baron Lawrence watched as they walked into the distance before striding quickly into the salon…
