Baron Lawrence noticed her subtle movents, but didn’t react much, just looked at her with even more detachnt.
Oscar didn’t expect Skye Lawrence to step in front of him right away, and in front of Baron Lawrence no less. He was stunned for a second, looked deeply at Skye, then stepped out from behind her with a usual gentle smile on his face, squinting with a look that was both real and unreal, and stared intently at the person in the car, “President Lawrence, driving all the way here, you’re not here to congratulate on getting out, are you?”
“What do you think?”
Oscar remained calm, shrugged his shoulders, and said steadily, “I think it’s more likely that President Lawrence ca to see make a fool of myself, but from what I know of you, you’re not that bored. So I don’t know why you’re here.”
Skye Lawrence tightened her hand by her side imperceptibly, looking towards Baron Lawrence with intense nervousness, as if afraid he would say sothing she couldn’t bear.
Baron Lawrence glanced at her, just a glance, and then t the man’s eyes, which were hiding a sinister gaze behind a gentle facade, like a poisonous snake, with his lips brushing together, “You’re right, I’m not that bored.”
“Then why did President Lawrence co? Are you really here to congratulate on getting out of prison?” Oscar didn’t believe Baron Lawrence would be that idle, nor did he believe Baron Lawrence would congratulate him for getting out.
He had crossed paths with this man several tis and had already figured it out.
To this man, anyone who has ever hurt Enna Clark is beyond redemption.
He hadn’t drawn a gun on him, which was already considered calm.
It was absolutely impossible for Baron Lawrence to co and congratulate him for getting out of prison!
So now he was really at a loss as to what this man was doing here.
Baron Lawrence didn’t let him guess for long, spoke coldly, “I’m just here to tell you, I’ve sent you a big gift, make sure to check it out.”

“Alright, I’ve inford you now, and in ten minutes, don’t miss the ‘big gift’ unveiling,” Baron Lawrence glanced at them, his lips curving up, domineering and handso, “I’m looking forward to your reaction.”
He was just here to remind them not to miss the ‘big gift’. After informing them, he needed to return before Enna Clark woke up!
“Enjoy the ‘gift’.”
The car window rolled back up, and the Bugatti sped off into the distance…
Skye Lawrence watched the car disappear from her view, withdrew her gaze only after a long while, her already haggard expression even more dejected, as if drained of all strength, she turned to the man beside her and explained, “Three days ago, I set up a woman with him, and had the press take a few photos. I originally wanted to use those photos to negotiate with him to get you out, but I was refused.”
She initially intended to exploit Baron Lawrence’s concern for Enna Clark, using those blurry, ambiguous photos as bargaining chips to free Oscar.
