Capítulo 2552: Chapter 2561: Let’s Disband the Band
After August Oliver left Oscar Group, he didn’t return to the place Wesley had arranged for him, but instead shook off the people Wesley had assigned to protect him and went to a small bar.
Inside the small bar, Annan and Nico were sitting in a corner. The bar was closed today, and there wasn’t a single person inside.
The only one there was Anna, the girl Olivia Lewis had t before, who ca over with a cocktail for each of them.
The atmosphere in the bar was very heavy.
No one spoke, each drinking silently.
Suddenly, the bell at the bar’s entrance rang ‘ding-a-ling’, and Annan was the first to stand up, unable to contain himself.
The door of the bar was pushed open, and in ca soone they hadn’t seen for three months.
When Annan saw him co in, his eyes instantly turned red. He dashed up, grabbed the man’s collar, raised his fist as if to punch him, “You still know how to co back, why did you leave without saying a word, do you even consider us brothers? Is this how brothers act?”
Nico and Brandon were afraid he would actually do sothing, and quickly grabbed him from both sides, “Alright, he just got back, let’s ask him first.”
“Yeah, we haven’t even gotten a clear answer yet, why are you in such a rush?”
Annan didn’t really want to hit anyone; he was just a little out of control because of his emotions. Seeing Nico and Brandon both trying to stop him, he let go, snorted, and moved to the side, “He won’t explain to you. If he was going to explain, he wouldn’t have disappeared without saying a word in the first place.”
Anna, the only girl, played the role of diator, reaching out to calm the slightly agitated Annan, speaking softly, “Alright, Annan, say no more. I also believe August left for a good reason, let’s hear what he has to say first.”
Annan’s cute boyish face was tightly drawn, still looking angry, but he didn’t say anything else.
Anna, seeing he had cald down, walked over to August Oliver, gathered her thoughts, and asked, “August, we’ve all seen the news online, you…”
August Oliver, who had almost been punched by Annan earlier, kept a cool look on his face. His hair, previously dyed ash blonde for the concert, had returned to black. Compared to his previous look, in just three months, he appeared much more mature and composed. When he heard Anna’s hesitant words, he lightly touched his lips and continued, “It’s true.”
Nico couldn’t hold back anymore either, “August, what do you an by true? Are you saying you’re going to be a director of Oscar Group?”
Brandon didn’t say anything but kept looking at him, clearly waiting for his answer.
Anna tried to lighten the mood with a small smile, interposing herself between them, “What are you guys doing, we’re all good friends, let’s talk things out. August didn’t say much, he just confird that the online reports are true. Co on, don’t be anxious, everyone’s just concerned about him, right?”
Annan turned his head away, sulkingly saying, “Who’s concerned about him, I’m not!”
Nico and Brandon were still waiting for August Oliver’s answer.
Anna felt like she couldn’t diate anymore, constantly giving August Oliver discreet winks, signaling him to cooperate a little and not provoke Annan and the others further at this mont.
Unfortunately, August Oliver acted as if he didn’t see it, pressing his lips tight, a touch of stubbornness in his cool deanor, abruptly spoke, “I’m here today to say, let’s disband the band.”
