Olivia Lewis helped him change to new sheets and duvet covers, straightened her body, and said, “Alright, you should sleep now.”
Adam Sinclair walked over, exhaustion written all over his face, but he still rubbed his aching temples and asked her, “Where are you going?”
“Nowhere actually. I was going to the office, but Sister Sunny just called and said I didn’t need to go. I’m going to play gas in the living room first; if I get really bored, I might call Enna to see if she’s free to hang out. Oh right, Emily also ntioned she wanted to join , I totally forgot about that. I’ll ask her if she’s free when I call Enna later.” Olivia recalled and said.
Adam listened to her say all this, and his deep gaze stayed on her, “So, you have no work arrangents today?”
“Why not? Can’t I rest for a bit? Even Old Yellow Ox has ti to graze; can’t I give myself a break?” Olivia gave him a disgruntled look.
Adam’s lips curled into a helpless smile, his midnight-like eyes deep as if they could swallow her, suddenly reached out, grabbed her arm, and bent over to lift her, “Of course you can. So why not sleep with today?”
Her body suddenly suspended in mid-air, Olivia was startled and slapped him, “Put down, Adam, put down.”
The next second, she was put down, but it was on the soft big bed.
“As you wish.”
The man with the deanor of a young master naturally helped her remove the slippers from her feet, lay beside her with a swing of his sturdy arm, enclosing Olivia entirely in his protective range.
“Sleep.”
He said this, closed his eyes, looking genuinely like he was going to sleep.
Olivia found herself unexpectedly leaning against his chest, the sound of his heartbeat thudding in her ear. His arm pressed against her waist left her unable to move, she struggled irritably and tilted her head upwards, protesting in a low voice, “Adam, let go of . If you want to sleep, sleep by yourself, I just got up at nine today and can’t sleep. You’re really ssing with here, aren’t you?”

Her words were answered by a face that seed to be asleep.
Olivia got so annoyed, “I know you’re not asleep. Let go now.”
“…”
“Not letting go, huh? I’ll count to three, if you don’t release , don’t bla for committing ‘husband homicide.'” Her brows raised in anger.
The man, eyes closed, upon hearing the words ‘husband homicide,’ a subtle smile appeared on his lips for a second.
“Yaya, you really aren’t asleep. I’m counting, 1, 2…” Olivia noticed his slight movent, saw him pretend to sleep again, and unable to bear it, reached out her hand to pinch his side.
“Ugh!” The man who had been pretending to sleep opened his eyes, and his beautiful eyes filled with helplessness, “How many tis have I said it, don’t pinch my waist.”
He’s been ticklish since he was a kid, especially at his waist. Ever since she discovered this weakness, she’s used it to threaten him every ti.
Olivia’s eyes burned with annoyance, counterattacking back, “How many tis have I said let go, yet you pretend to sleep. Would you open your eyes if I don’t resort to special tactics?”
Adam pressed his thin lips, conceding to his feigned sleep. He captured Olivia’s troubleso little hand with his left hand, coaxing in a tired, husky tone, “Alright, stop making a fuss. I really am exhausted, let rest for a while. Whatever it is, let’s talk when I wake up, okay?”
