anwhile, the car with Adam Sinclair was approaching.
This Amusent Park is the one for which he previously gave Gigi the limited edition gold card, and it is currently the largest project being operated by Sinclair Corporation; the entire Sinclair Family values it greatly.
Today is the opening ceremony of the Amusent Park, and not only did Adam Sinclair co, but Benjamin Sinclair and his illegitimate son, Alexander Sinclair, also arrived.
Recently, Alexander Sinclair successfully entered Sinclair Corporation by relying on the strong marital ties that Benjamin Sinclair found for him. However, due to suppression from Sydney Sullivan and the Sullivan Family, Alexander is still only staying with the group in the capacity of Benjamin’s secretary, unable to truly join the company’s inner circle.
Now, Adam and Benjamin Sinclair are sitting at the back of Lincoln’s car, while Alexander can only sit in the front with the driver.
Due to the issue of the illegitimate son and inheritance rights, the relationship between Benjamin and Adam has always been strained, and even sitting in the sa car right now, there’s no communication between the two.
Adam’s gaze remained fixed on the scenery outside the car window, not even casting a glance towards Benjamin.
Benjamin hardened his face and waited for a long ti for Adam to speak up, but he didn’t; his eyes were dark and he stared at the person across with dissatisfaction, breaking the silence in the car first, "I heard your Mom wasn’t feeling well yesterday, got a cold, is she better now?"
"She’s okay." Adam responded slightly relaxed; his appearance more resembles his Mom, Sydney Sullivan, with distinguished and elegant features.
Benjamin was obviously dissatisfied with this answer, his face turned grim, raising his voice, "What do you an okay? I’m asking if her cold’s gotten better?"
"Have you seen anyone recover from a cold in one day?" Adam looked at him with a smirk, his gaze subtly sweeping past a certain person in the front, and saying with a sneer, "Besides, you can’t tell whether she’s better or not?"
If his Mom were healthy, she would definitely attend occasions like today.
If his Mom were present, Benjamin never brought the illegitimate son out, wasn’t it because he feared his Mom wouldn’t show face and would bully that illegitimate son?
Ha!
That woman all these years only plays the role of being weak. The son she brought up is also like a woman, only able to play petty tricks.
Both mother and son probably expect to rely on these petty tricks to seize Sinclair Corporation and Sinclair Family’s Madam position.
Ridiculous.
They don’t even look at what kind of man the one in front of them is, each ti they play the pitiful act so successfully, every ti Benjamin is provoked by them to the point of devouring soone, but in the end, didn’t Alexander only manage to beco a re secretary in the group as he wished?
That secretary position was won through Benjamin’s flushed face and argunt on their behalf. To this day, even though Alexander entered the company openly, so what, Benjamin still doesn’t dare to bring him to flaunt in front of his Mom.
"What’s this attitude of yours!" Benjamin was so angered by his sneering attitude that his chest tightened in pain, his square face turned livid, just about to explode.
But seeing Adam’s indifferent gaze, he forcefully suppressed his anger, pulled a face, and said, "I’m only concerned about your Mom, nothing else!"
Adam raised an eyebrow, noncommittal, looking as if he didn’t even want to acknowledge him.
Benjamin’s painstakingly suppressed anger was once again provoked by Adam’s unreserved attitude, he clenched his fists, let out a low growl, "Adam, watch your attitude in front of !"
"Oh? What attitude should I have in front of you, President Sinclair?" Adam crossed his long legs, lazily lifted an eyelid, twisting his lips, "I’ve always had this attitude since I was little, if President Sinclair wants a good son, there are plenty to oblige. Isn’t there a good son sitting in front?"
The term "good son" coming from his mouth, one wonders if it’s due to unclear enunciation, sounded like the curse word bastard.
