Backstage, Adam Sinclair was already prepared to go look for soone when Olivia Lewis walked in.
“Why did it take you so long?” Adam pressed down on her shoulder and asked.
Olivia didn’t ntion Alexander Sinclair coming to harass her. “It wasn’t that long. Makeup naturally takes ti.”
Without doubting her words, Adam glanced at the ti, took her hand, and his peach blossom eyes brimd with a smile. “It’s about ti. Are you ready?”
Olivia lowered her eyes to look at his firm grip on her hand. Her beautiful eyes stabilized a lot, and a smile played at her lips, alluring and silky, “It seems like you need to be more prepared than I do, Investor~”
Anyway, she was now a star enchanting a super rich family’s young master; she only needed to play her role as a beautiful facade.
Adam wished he could kiss her teasing red lips, but unfortunately, there were too many people around. His Adam’s apple moved with restraint, and his hand holding Olivia’s wrist tightened an inch. “Are you sure you want to provoke now?”
“Did I provoke you? How co I don’t know?” Olivia’s eyes sparkled, her pretty face innocent, yet her little finger subtly tickled Adam’s palm.
A tingling sensation rippled through Adam’s palm, and his eyes suddenly darkened. He tightened his grip on Olivia’s wrist further and warned in a low voice, “Don’t court death.”
“If I’m pretty and don’t use it, isn’t it a waste of this face?” Olivia knew there was no way he would do anything to her in front of so many people, so she dared to tempt fate recklessly. When she had a chance, she would seize it; that’s her style.

Adam pressed his thin lips together tightly; the spot her little finger brushed felt like it was burning, the fire seeping into his heart. His eyes were afla, as if he wanted to devour Olivia whole. But Olivia pretended not to notice, doing whatever she pleased.
“Investor, if you don’t want to act up, is it because I’m not beautiful enough?” She did it on purpose. Who told him to pressure her to co here, leading to that disgusting encounter with Alexander Sinclair earlier? She needed to tornt him a little, to vent. “It shouldn’t be; every year I make the list of beautiful stars in the magazines, showing I’m decent looking. Besides, if I weren’t pretty, you wouldn’t be funding .”
She concluded, “…So I am quite pretty~”
Her self-admiration wasn’t annoying in the least, but rather adorable owing to the mischief in her eyes.
Adam heard the sound of a string about to snap in his brain, one marked with poise and restraint. His Adam’s apple moved as he tightened his grip on Olivia’s hand even more. “I’m not funding you. Right now, you’re funding .”
Olivia blinked and pouted, “I’m funding you? Investor, are you joking? I’m about to be unemployed; how can I fund you?”
“You’re indeed funding .” Adam’s deep eyes were filled with mischief, his reasoning twisted. “Every ti I return ho, I stay at your place. Utilities, property managent, as well as food and necessities, all on you. Who do you think is funding whom now?”
Olivia suddenly realized, oh my, he was right.
Her first reaction was, “Can I stop funding?”
Adam’s eyes abruptly darkened as he held her tight, threateningly closing in. “No way! If you start, you fund until the contract ends.”
He owns such a vast business empire yet forces her to support him—shaless! Olivia said helplessly, “Alright, so how long is the contract duration?”
