"Hey, wait, Adam, let tell you first, I won’t cook for you. Don’t buy things and then force to do it." Olivia Lewis struggled while warning him upfront.
No way, she doesn’t want to cook; she’s exhausted today, not wanting to lift a finger.
The tall man focused on selecting vegetables, paying no attention to her.
Olivia Lewis scratched her head, contemplating whether to make her words clearer, fearing he might co up with so sneaky way to make her cook.
"I really can’t..." She hadn’t finished her sentence.
Suddenly, a surprised voice ca from their front left. "Adam?"
Olivia Lewis, intrigued by the pleasant voice, looked in its direction. She saw a casually dressed girl not far away, pushing a cart like theirs, already filled with a lot of items.
The girl had light makeup on; her features weren’t particularly striking, but together they gave a very comfortable and elegant impression.
The way she looked at a certain soone...
Olivia Lewis squinted. Being in the acting profession, she studied various expressions and glances every day.
After all, good acting requires both eye expressions and facial expressions.
The beautiful woman’s look at Adam clearly had... sothing off.
She observed the other person with interest, making an initial judgnt that this woman seed a few years older than Adam, not more than five, maybe about three or four years older.
Could they have had an older woman-younger man relationship?
Adam was initially surprised to see soone here he thought he’d never et again; in his surprise, he inexplicably glanced at the side.
Just one look successfully made him swallow his anger, his handso face darkening. His previous surprise instantly swept away, replaced with frustration.
What kind of expression was that? Enjoying the show?
Looking at her stance, give her so sunflower seeds and she’d start snacking right there!
But that wasn’t even what angered him the most.
What angered him the most was that he didn’t believe soone with Olivia Lewis’ observational skills couldn’t see there was a connection between him and the other woman. The key was that she saw it and could still calmly watch.
In the blink of an eye, the woman pushing the cart ca to stand in front of them, greeted with a complex expression, "Didn’t expect to run into you so soon after coming back to the country. What a coincidence."
Adam took a deep breath, forcefully lifting his gaze from a certain soone, and with a gentleman’s smile said, "Yes, quite a coincidence. Renee, let introduce you."
He put an arm around the little woman watching the scene unfold naturally, saying, "This is my girlfriend, Olivia Lewis."
"Olivia, this is my forr neighbor, Renee Anderson."
Olivia Lewis noticed the beautiful woman’s expression clearly paused when she heard him say "girlfriend." However, the other quickly adjusted, extending a hand with a smile, greeting her warmly, "Hello, I’m Renee Anderson."
"Hello, Olivia Lewis." Olivia Lewis shook her hand briefly.
After a simple greeting, the beautiful woman, with keen awareness, imdiately said, "You guys continue shopping, I’ve bought everything I need. I’ll leave you be." Then she added, "I’ll head off now, bye."
"Yes."
"By the way, Adam, let’s plan for a al together with everyone soon. I just returned, haven’t told them yet."
"Okay."
"I’ll be off now, bye."
She pushed the cart, her graceful figure walking away.
