Baron Lawrence’s eagle eyes touched her fair profile, his brow furrowed even tighter, and he added another sentence, "Tell Olivia Lewis not to get involved with that woman, stay away from that woman, and if that woman seeks her out, have her tell Adam Sinclair imdiately!"
"Uh..." The last ti he said sothing similar, it was to keep her away from Skye Lawrence. Who is this Renee Anderson, and why did he specifically ntion her, "Okay."
Enna Clark still had a lot of trust in him, and she solemnly reminded Olivia Lewis twice as instructed. Only when Olivia assured her did she hang up the phone.
As soon as she hung up, she imdiately asked, "Who is the Renee Anderson that Olivia ntioned, and why do you need Olivia to be cautious of her? She and Adam Sinclair..."
"Adam used to have feelings for that woman; the two were together. But the woman was very scheming; she was rely using Adam, manipulating his feelings. Her real target at the ti was a royal mber from Country A. When that royal mber took the bait, she instantly dumped Adam." Baron Lawrence’s expression turned sowhat icy, "If it were just that, it wouldn’t be much of an issue, but later on, she crashed into soone while drunk driving. Despite having broken up with Adam, she called him, asking him to take the fall for her. While the Sinclair Family was busy trying to manage the situation, she directly followed that royal mber abroad to get engaged. At that ti, Adam was facing imnse public pressure because of her and was detained in the detention center."
"After he got out, he heard the news and went on a drinking spree for a while. Later on, his attitude towards relationships changed to how you initially saw him."
Baron Lawrence’s brow flashed with a trace of hostility, "I don’t know why she suddenly ca back this ti, but you better have Olivia Lewis be cautious. It seems she broke up with that royal mber not too long ago."
Marrying into royalty is certainly more prestigious than marrying into a wealthy family, and it offers easier access to influence.
Even though most royal establishnts now exist in na only, they are still accompanied by power under the royal honor.
It seems this Renee Anderson has quite an appetite; no wonder she initially looked down on Adam Sinclair.
Looking down isn’t really an issue, but as Baron Lawrence ntioned, she later deliberately sought Adam to take the fall, while she shalessly went abroad to get engaged. This was indeed excessive.
No wonder Adam beca like that later, possibly because she wounded him too deeply, casting doubt on love and making him distrust won.
Enna Clark furrowed her brows, her expression becoming more earnest, "I understand, I’ll ntion it to Olivia later to have her be more cautious."
Years ago, Renee’s target was indeed soone else, not Adam Sinclair. But who can guarantee that after failing, she wouldn’t switch her targets to Adam? Now, Sinclair Group is thriving, Adam himself is quite valuable, and he’s also a handso man—a very excellent choice.
"I think Olivia does trust Young Master Sinclair; she asked to check with you mostly out of curiosity." Enna Clark pondered for a mont and still said, "Anyway, I still need to remind her more to avoid being at a disadvantage. Olivia and Young Master Sinclair have worked really hard to get to where they are today."
And it requires a lot of courage.
To trust soone who once disappointed you, to face pressure from all sides... It’s not as easy as it sounds. Olivia has truly gathered a lot of courage, hoping Young Master Sinclair won’t let her down again; otherwise, she wouldn’t want to entrust Olivia to him anymore.
