The deliciousness shocked her; she couldn’t believe that this was made by soone who can’t distinguish between chicken and duck, who made Beer Duck into Red Wine Chicken, and with the whole chicken intact, not cut up.
This is just too delicious.
"How does it taste?" Baron Lawrence’s gaze was fixed on her, his eyes gradually darkening, as if he wished to draw Enna Clark into them.
Enna t his gaze, smiled softly, and gave a thumbs up, "Delicious!"
The man who had been tense and clearly nervous suddenly relaxed his brows, and a joyful smile spread in his eyes. His rose-colored lips curved slightly, looking pleased, "Nonsense, do you even know who cooked it!"
So domineering, so arrogant, so rightful!
Scott Harris, standing by, secretly shot a glance at him, deciding to move the failed steaks he’d angrily thrown into the kitchen trash while Enna wasn’t paying attention, lest the Young Madam find out.
Lord had clearly brought in a Michelin chef to give him one-on-one lessons every day to learn how to make steak.
He studied hard for half a month, torturing the Michelin chef to the brink of madness due to his lack of talent in cooking. He barely managed to learn the simplest pan-seared steak. Even so, his performance remained unstable, often failing due to the steak being either over or undercooked.
Just now, the reason Lord spent more than half an hour with the soup after making it was because he failed twice previously.
The portion Young Madam is eating now is the third one that Lord made.
And it’s the only successful one.
Fortunately, knowing how things would go, he had prepared extra ingredients; otherwise, with Lord’s unstable cooking skills, they wouldn’t be having steak tonight.
Enna Clark bead, cutting the steak on her plate nicely, pushing it toward him. She then took his portion for herself, offering praise, "It really tastes great, Baron, your skills could open a Western restaurant."
Her little gesture delighted the already pleased man. He glanced at Enna with an eagle-like gaze, indifferent, "Ha, I’m afraid they can’t afford it."
Is his handmade steak sothing just anyone can eat?

Enna then realized that he controlled the Lawrence Corporation, worth billions, and it indeed as he said, no one could afford his steak. Because every minute and second of his ti was insanely valuable. For him to personally cook a steak, it would need to sell for at least a hundred and fifty thousand to break even.
But who would spend a hundred and fifty thousand on a steak, it’s not like they’re eating diamonds.
Thinking that the bite she had earlier could have been worth fifteen thousand dollars made her feel she couldn’t swallow it, "I just ant that it was really delicious."
"If it’s delicious, eat more. Next ti you want so, just tell , and I can make it for you." His differential treatnt was too apparent. Earlier he said no one could afford his steak; now, for Enna, it’s whenever she wants; just shy of pampering her to the extre.
The corners of Enna’s mouth involuntarily lifted, and her mood improved alongside. While eating steak, she recounted what happened at the school this afternoon to him and hesitated before saying, "Baron Lawrence, I want to transfer Bobby to St. Anthony."
She originally thought of letting Bobby attend a regular school where the environnt could be more pure, and Bobby could be happier.
Now, it seems she had been looking at the problem with a biased perspective.
