"Mom, I really like Olivia. No matter what, I will marry her! It doesn’t matter who opposes; I just want your blessing," Adam Sinclair’s expression was earnest, his handsome features bearing a resemblance to Sydney Sullivan, making it evident to strangers that they were mother and son.
Sydney Sullivan’s unpleasant expression finally softened, not as angry as before. She glanced at Olivia Lewis; despite struggling to accept Olivia’s background, she removed a jade bracelet from her wrist and put it on Olivia’s wrist, "This bracelet was given to me by Adam’s grandfather, and now I’m giving it to you. You heard it yourself, my foolish son really likes you. You’re married now, and I don’t have much to ask of you. Just one thing. Do not betray his affection!"

Adam Sinclair’s tender expression faded, being somewhat indifferent, "I won’t."
"...What do you mean?" Sydney Sullivan was startled, pressing him for an answer.
The Western food had just arrived, Adam Sinclair started by cutting Sydney Sullivan’s steak, placing it in front of her with gentlemanly precision, and then kindly cutting Olivia’s, before finally attending to his own. Sydney Sullivan listened to him, looking at him with a face full of pain, giving up on defending Benjamin Sinclair. She turned her plex gaze to Olivia Lewis, eyes gentler than before, asking softly, "I remember seeing in the news that you have a press conference starting tomorrow?"
"...Yes." Olivia was puzzled at the topic shift, but after a moment, she nodded obediently.
"I’ll be there tomorrow."
