"Then wait a moment, I’ll help you dry your hair after I finish my call with Olivia."

Enna Clark felt a bit helpless. She was about to tell Olivia Lewis they’d meet tomorrow, but Olivia, who overheard their conversation through the earphones, reacted even faster than she did. Olivia hung up quickly.
Enna Clark had barely finished saying "hey" before Olivia decisively hung up.
Enna Clark looked at the disconnected call with frustration, not understanding why Olivia was so afraid of Baron Lawrence.
Actually, when Baron was around Olivia, he wasn’t that scary.
She didn’t know that it was only when she was present that Baron’s aura wasn’t intimidating. When she wasn’t around, his "do not approach" aura would definitely be intimidating.

Suddenly, he paused, his deep gaze locking onto the person in his arms.
"What’s wrong?" Enna was made uneasy by his stare, and she touched her face, asking uncertainly, "Is there something I forgot to wash off?"
"No."
"Then why are you looking at me like that?"
The man above her suddenly scooped her up by the waist and carried her directly into the room, saying, "Because I suddenly feel sleepy."
As Enna was abruptly lifted, she reflexively wrapped her arms around his neck, making it look like she was willingly being tender with him. She stammered and struggled, "Didn’t you just sleep on the plane? Your hair isn’t dry yet. Put me down, and I’ll help you dry your hair... Baron Lawrence, you..."
The bedroom was getting closer, and with his long legs, he carried her into the bedroom in just a few strides, placing her on the large bed and looming over her with a manding presence.
A minty fresh scent mixed with the fragrance of just-showered bath gel enveloped them, intimate and sweet.
"I didn’t share a bed with you on the plane."
Enna shrank back a little, discreetly pulling the blanket over herself, her eyes avoiding his, "I was right next to you, so that counts as sharing a bed. Didn’t you fall asleep?"
He was definitely asleep.
He seemed refreshed when they got off the plane.
Baron Lawrence suddenly leaned in closer, pulling away the blanket she’d used to cover herself, raising an eyebrow, his hawk-like eyes dark and deep as they drew nearer to hers, "Don’t tell me you don’t know what I mean by sharing a bed."
