When he heard the first sentence, Adam Sinclair was still a bit dissatisfied. But at the second one, his dissatisfaction turned into stunned silence. "Wesley."

"You’re sure he can be an ally?" Adam frowned uneasily. In his opinion, August Oliver and Wesley were connected by blood after all, and he was worried the two might join forces to play Baron.
Baron knew exactly what he was worried about. He lit the second cigarette Adam had handed him, and in the flicker of the flame, he said icily, "I’m sure."
August Oliver hates Wesley. There’s no doubt about that!

If August couldn’t even put this bit of ’sincerity’ on the table, there’d be no need for them to work together. A useless person wasn’t even qualified to be his pawn, let alone his partner!
Once August made his move, Baron’s counterattack would begin!
