Colorful Halloween decorations and countless magic bats fluttered on the walls and ceiling.
There were also giant pumpkin lanterns with candles floating in the air.

Dumbledore picked up a golden spoon and tapped a glass, and plates of delicious food instantly appeared on the empty golden plates on the table.

So, to be safe, he sent Little Goku to handle it.
Little Goku doesn't need to use magic or Ki; he can instantly kill a Troll with a single punch.
Professor McGonagall's main role was to lead the way, as Little Goku hadn't explored the castle much and was unfamiliar with its Underground Room.
Her speed was faster than other Professors, and in a castle where Apparition could not be used, she could get Little Goku to the Underground Room to find the Troll the fastest.
"Professor Son, follow !"
Professor McGonagall nodded, her body swiftly transforming into a tabby cat, and she dashed out of the Great Hall.
Little Goku's figure flickered, keeping close behind the tabby cat.
The tabby cat was very fast, but there was still a considerable gap between her and him.
"Is this an Animagus?"
He had specifically asked Dumbledore to explain Animagus transformation before, and this was his first ti truly seeing it.
"Severus, guard the door. Madam Pomfrey, check on Quirrell."
Seeing Little Goku and Professor McGonagall disappear from the Great Hall, Dumbledore gave Snape a look.
He had long suspected Quirrell had issues.
Quirrell was once Ravenclaw's most outstanding graduate and was renowned in the Wizarding World for his exceptional magic abilities.
This was why he had invited Quirrell to beco Hogwarts' Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor.
But this sumr, Quirrell returned from a trip abroad with a drastic change in personality.
Not only did he stamr, but he also beca extrely timid, always wrapped in a turban, slling strongly of garlic.
His own explanation was that he had been frightened by Vampires and Witches during his travels.
However, this didn't fool him, because he knew that Quirrell had traveled to Albania, which was where Voldemort was hiding.
So he suspected that Quirrell might have already pledged allegiance to Voldemort, becoming a Death Eater.
The Gringotts robbery case confird his suspicions.
However, he did not imdiately expose Quirrell's identity; firstly, there was no evidence, and secondly, he wanted to follow the clues to see what Voldemort's conspiracy was.
Having Hagrid bring the philosophers stone back to Hogwarts and involving Quirrell in the philosophers stone's protective checkpoints was also a further test.
Now he suspected that the Troll in the Underground Room might have been released by Quirrell, with the aim of distracting them to steal the philosophers stone.
If it were before, to be safe, he would have had the prefects of each year lead the students back to their dormitories, assigned so teachers to guard the students, and so teachers to deal with the Troll.
Then he would secretly have Snape keep an eye on Quirrell.
But now, because of the ki magic lessons, the Little Wizards no longer feared Trolls.
So he simply remained inactive, letting Little Goku deal with the Troll; he believed Little Goku could easily handle any number of Trolls Quirrell might release.
Then, he and all the teachers would stay in the Great Hall, both to protect the students' safety and to keep an eye on Professor Quirrell.
And while they were at it, Madam Pomfrey could examine Quirrell, as he suspected there was sothing wrong with Quirrell's head, which he always kept wrapped in cloth…
